Hi,
I'm relatively new to multi-boxing and have been using Isboxer for the last 2 months or so with a prot pally, 2 x mage, lock, holy priest.
For Legion, I'm looking for a team thats relatively low complexity and focuses more on survivability than faceroll dps, as well as being able to do LFG. I don't have a lot of play time so was thinking of having a Pally as tank and 4 x Disc priests for heals + dps combo.
Is this feasible? While not focusing on dps, I still need to have enough output to burn down bosses, etc. (even if takes awhile). Also thinking of my class hall. I've played 5 x druids and while its fun, i'm leaning towards trying something a bit different. In any event, will level to 60 to try things out and get my crafting boost.
cheers.

Have you played Disc priest lately? They are a bit more complex for healing compared to others, but with four that might not be an issue.
In WoD, their DPS was just so bad I would have hated that group composition. Mine did 7k-9k, ugh horrible. One true DPS would out preformed all four Disc priests.
You might want to check the discussion in the thread here:

Restro shaman looks really nice for healing. Possibly going 4 elemental shamans would do what you want and you could just switch one to Restro if you need the true heals.
Love the Pali tank, I think the majority are going with that for Legion. I think going 5 pali tanks would be way better DPS and survive longer than Disc priests, and still let you in LFG.

I can confirm.
Haven't had time to get mine reworked for the new patch yet.

Thanks JohnGabriel. I was worried about the DPS on the 4 priests but thought I'd read that it had a bit of a DPS buff (at the expense of heals). But as I'm looking for survivability and simplicity as my composition priorities, maybe having 5 x Pallys is a something I should look at. I haven't run multiple melees before so will need to play around with it first before boosting. Is it a viable dungeon running group in Legion?

Disc Priest dps is waaaay better than it was in WOD. I'm sure you can macro spells that apply atonement ( the passive that makes your dps heal ) in a way to have lots of passive dps. For me, the negative thing about the spec is that with only one you cant rely on the healing. But with more than one in a group I'm betting the passive healing will be over kill.
For example, my team of 3 mages ..disc priest and warrior tank..my priest is out dpsing them all in ilevel680ish gear. BUT i have not tried too hard to macro the new skills/spells properly yet. My mages took a big hit because of the changes, they should be doing way more dps than they are.

Since all zones scale to your level in Legion, the tank should need healing from time to time so it's a good idea to keep a discipline priest around. But I'm not too sure if discipline priest can really handle heroic dungeons. If damage comes constantly rather than in a burst, then it should be fine because we'll have time to apply the atonement buff. But if not, will it be really feasible to take discipline priest as main healer? :(

What I hate most about the Disc priest and its worse now that she has to DPS, Pennance breaks follow. Maybe I am mad at myself for not constantly pressing the follow key, but I blame her.
