Well I finally caved in and decided to retire my tired old 3.0 Ghz P4. 12 FPS on the clones and 25 FPS on the main in the middle of nowhere just doesn't cut it. And that's not to mention the cities. Unfortunately my MB is a bit too old to support a quad core, so I had to upgrade that and RAM as well. Here's what I opted for:

Should be quite the performance boost! I'm a bit leery of over clocking, but I might give it a shot with the CPU since a lot of people seem to have success with that. I should be able to get the most out of my GeForce 8800GT in other games (Crysis, Source games, etc) as well.
I'm still debating a bit on what to do for video. I'm just running the 8800GT currently, but I have a perfectly good Radeon X800 lying around too. Not sure if I should just go both monitors on the 8800GT or do one on each card. I'm not looking to buy a new card at all. I guess I will have to see how it works.
