Has anyone else noticed big discrepancies in economies between Horde and Alliance on other PvE servers. I have toons on both side and I'm amazed at the difference in the AH prices of the same items on both servers. I can buy one certain item for around 40G on the Horde site, yet the same item on the Alliance side is 60G plus.

I've been thinking about buying and selling to my opposite toons through the neutral AH to resell on the other side. I don't know if this is considered against the Blizzard TOS or not either.

it's not against any TOS, if it was they would remove the neutral auction house, i'de do it though if i wasent on a pvp server, nothing wrong with making free gold

i've done that very thing.. found something that was more affordable on the Alliance side bought it put it on the neutral AH and bought for my horde character...

I'd say i've done something similar to this 50+ times..

I've done that, too. I did some research before and found one or two blue posts stating that it is not against the terms of use. Here's one:

Anyway, when doing that keep in mind that the fee for gold payout in the neutral AH is 15%! So you're better off, sending your gains across the border in form of items. And: Be quick.

On the two PVE servers I played, it was exactly the opposite. Bringer of Death (Alliance) = 39g. Bringer of Death (Horde) = 129g. WTF.

If you regularly play horde on a PVE server but have an alliance alt capable of getting the Booty Bay flight point you can enter the import/export business and make good gold by transferring some Alliance only vendor items across - not giving all my secrets away but drop by the Canal Tailor and Fit shop in stormwind for one of the items ;)

I've also heard of this being done on pvp servers, but it requires two accounts b/c you cant have horde and alliance on the same server. I would assume it is more profitable because fewer people do it. Also, when just transferring gold across characters enchanting mats are the way to go; no deposit.

there used to be a mod called bottomfeeder, it was being produced by the guy who made auctioneer that did what auctioneer does but compared AH and factions so basically waht u guys are talking about, people where making big big money from it, but after corespondance from blizz he was asked not to produce it any longer.
