I wanted to ask how much time you guys invest each month to keep your accounts running and what exactly you do to do it (if you are willing to share). I've seen a thread on goldmaking on this forum before but it doesnt really meantion how much you get just how. I just started multiboxing my first 5 man team is 100 soon but other than old raids and garisson stuff i don't know how to get the 90k(EU) x 5 a month. Not even sure if garisson is worth it still with legion around the corner.

At the current price point its better to save gold for the expansion and pay cash for the subs. The token prices are higher towards the end of the expansion since less people are playing. Once legion gets released I would image the prices for tokens dropping by atleast half. Lowest US tokens were 17k at one time and when its low you should by 10 which I think is the max you can have any at one time in your bags.

FYI - Its also cheaper to buy gold right now and then in turn use that purchased gold to buy tokens once the expansion gets released. 2 to 1 margin assuming tokens drop to ~20k(US) once legion is released based on increased demand from returning/new players.
Thank you for the quick answer.
My problem is that i don't really want to pay 65 € a month for my accounts even if the tokens are pretty expensive at the moment and i also don't want to risk them buying gold. I just started multiboxing as a little project because of some cheap keys i got due to the warcraft movie. I want to see if i can make them last by just playing.

It would only be for two months, you got one month free with the game....
By the time you got all set up with garrisons to make the gold with treasure hunters/barns or whatever the expansion will be out anyways. If you want to spend an awful amount of hours farming, I would farm mounts to sell and maybe get lucky with one or two to sell.

If Savage Blood/Sumptuous Fur sells well on your server, having a bunch of barns would mean you could probably fund your accounts in about 1-3 hours of work per week. I'm on a low-pop server where the fur sells quickly but at low prices, and the blood just sits on the AH forever.

450k! per month with 5 characters and 4 hours of work total, with only the barn, at this point in the expansion....something smells. My bullshit meter is off the charts.

I'm doing that right now as well.
But its not with 5 characters it 5 accounts. I have two teams with barns, and a couple solo toons. Barns bring in the most, followed by the naval missions. After that I have a route through Draenor I take killing rares and farming rare pets to AH.
But yeah, hour a day and half a million a month no problem.

He has a new account of not even level 100s and wants to make 450k right now. ugg said and hour per week from barns only. How long did it take you to get everything set up. My guess is by the time he has everything set up to only take an hour per day the expansion will be out. Naval yard takes time to set up not to mention a good bit of gold.

At first thanks to all the helpfull answers so far I'll try to get as much barns up as possible. Also my advantage is i have my main account on the same bnet. So i have all lvl 3 plans and draenor flying which should be a speed up for the leveling.
Well actually i plan to get atleast 3 sets of 100chars up this month maybe even 5 if i can find the time. First month should be okay because of the free months the other accounts get I'll only have to pay for 3 of them i guess. But I'm not sure about the following months.
Still 28 days to go :)

Knock yourself out. Be sure to come back in a couple of months and lets us know if youre still not burned out. Its alot of start up work for just two months and I have no idea if the legion prepatch will change anything to the current expansion regarding garrisons.

Edit: Your 5 accounts are all on the same battle.net eh? You dun scrwed up

I believe this is the case, I will be corrected if I am wrong
your only allowed 18 tokens over a 24 month period per bnet account, that means you only have enough tokens for 3 months for your 5 accounts if they are all n the same bnet

I made 600k in one week because someone needed bloods and they sold for 5k per stack of 50. That's from 5 groups of 5 all farming wolves in Nagrand. The caster/hunter groups can farm 5 days worth of pelts in about 15 minutes, the paladins in about 20 and the druids take about 30. It's possible I had some saved up bloods from previous weeks, so there's that. I've had to trade 250k from my AH main to an alt twice over the last two months, so I'm making nowhere NEAR enough to sustain things, but that's not new. Ergo my comment about "depends on server population and demand."

Look at all those characters....the OP doesnt even have a set of 100s. How quickly is he going to be set up like yourself? Before legion, up and running in 28 days before his free month is over? I answered his question based upon his post along with his character availability and time given before the expansion. Yes your example is bs based upon his current situation and time frame before the expansion. Garrison is worth shit once legion hits.

I can't speak to Naval yards; I started mine to get Tanaan unlocked but pretty much ignored them after that. They do not factor into my barns at all.
You may be right about whether 450k is doable, but that's completely server/demand/patience dependent.
As for the mechanics of getting level 3 barns up and running, I think once I had my garrison at level 3 (what, a week after hitting 100? Two tops?) I got my barn created and upgraded from level 1 to 3 in I think two afternoons. The Master Trapper achievement to unlock level 3 is normally a fair length of time, but multiboxers share the achievement, so running multiple teams through that takes a minimal amount of time; you don't have to actually complete the work orders, just place them.

http://www.wowhead.com/guides/garrisons/buildings/guide-to-the-garrison-barn
The more you know...
[edit] It's probably worth noting that spending a few days getting barns upgraded and then an hour a week farming pelts is a minimal amount of work for a very decent income. Then you have all those other hours in the week to go do stuff that actively makes money.

Blizzard customer support has both moved accounts off of a single B.Net, each onto their own B.Net.
And then a few months later, they helped me move accounts onto two B.Net emails, so I had five per B.Net.
If you own each of the accounts, your own name, etc... Blizzard will let you move them, each onto their own B.Net; their customer support is good in this regard.
Then you're not limited to 36 Tokens per 24 months on one B.Net only, but on each of however many B.Net emails you end up with.

Peoples' experience with this over the past year has been a mixed bag. There is no guarantee that they will do this for you anymore. Why? I don't know.

I tried three times to get mine moved, with no luck. Each of the three CS reps said the same thing: We're not allowed to do that at all, and I have no idea how your friend got his moved.

Same thing for me. Tried a few times, always got the same cookie cutter response. My assumption is that we're only getting in touch with low level customer service reps that are doing things "by the book" and those who have had luck have been lucky enough to catch ones with more experience and/or knowledge about dealing with exceptions to the basic rules.
Slightly annoying as a friend got his accounts split on the first try. Blizz even managed to mess it up and one of his new B-nets got a Spectral tiger somehow copied over.
As far as the gold stuff: I would say save your gold as well. The token prices have sky rocketed to over double what they used to be. You'll get more bang for your buck during Legion. With the decrease in demand for materials, it'll be increasingly hard to make the needed gold so unless your realm economy is somehow far more lucrative than most, I doubt it is worth it.

Yea, on the account splitting/moving front I too had to make multiply calls to blizz HQ. It wasnt until I was on the phone with a rep who was also a multiboxer and she pressed for it to happen for me.
She had to take the request to her super like 3 times, I sat on hold for a good lil bit. Before it was all said and done, then I was ran thru the whole "we can never do this again, chit chat".

This is a good life tip for everyone when dealing with customer service reps in general. I usually bypass the first customer service rep I get and demand to speak to a supervisor or senior representative. I have found that at the very least you will get someone who speaks English well enough to understand and have always had my issue resolved once transferred to a supervisor and I have asked for some crazy stuff. Low level reps are limited in their responses, senior reps/supervisors will give you what you want usually just to get you off the phone.
Edit: This tactic might not be for everyone because you have to be an persistent asshole to these people to get things done. It helps to already be an asshole in my case and as long as you dont personally attack them over the phone their company policy doesn't allow them to hang up on you. I will yell, belittle and berate. Like I said they will give what you want just to get you off the phone alot of times since supervisors usually dont have to meet a daily/weekly quota of calls .

I do not have problems getting things from them. But I call using a TTY service, and nothing like the ADA act of 1990 to keep everyone extremely helpful. I know that wont be much help to you guys but its verification that they can and will do it, you just need the right circumstances to line up.
I managed to split my accounts on different Bnet only because "the accounts were quite fresh" (a few months old) and they told me that this is not what they usually do. Personally I think they should just get rid of that stupid limitation which serves no-one. If someone is stupid enough to spend hundreds of millions of gold to push their sub all the way until 2078 then hey, that's really his problem :D
Before the split, I used to buy tokens on my game account one, which now meets the 36 tokens / 24 months >_> but other 9 accounts survived.
I just made some math earlier, and I've spent whopping 10,107,578 gold on 187 Tokens. Five subs are expiring next March, four subs next Xmas, and that one account sub expires next month. I have tried to beg for mercy for that account, but only way to keep it alive so far is to use the $$, and $$ only, sigh >_>

The limitation is their insurance policy so they can set a date for when the entire token system gets thrown in the trash can.
I personally believe that day isn't far off.

I got my 10 accounts moved from 2 bnets to 10 bnets and then a while ago back to 2 accounts per on 5 bnets. no issues with CS there. I was shocked when Mosg2 told me he couldn't get them to budge. I'd keep trying if you don't want to re-roll.
