5 Box Heroic Comp

Hi pals,

I've been lurking here for a little while now and decided I should actually contribute. I rolled 5 new toons in late January to play with some friends who had finally quit Everquest. I at one point had 5 boxed shamans, 10 boxed mages, and 5 boxed druids on emu servers using pwnboxer. I thought I'd try my hand at the real deal and play on a live server.

So far I have 5 level 100 hunters, 5 level 90 druids, and a mixed team of a level 61 warrior, holy paladin, mage, ele shaman, and warlock. I've obviously put most of my time running the hunters, but I've hit a wall running heroics with them. They unfortunately can't survive some of the bosses that I'd like to kill, or I'm just not smart enough to think of a way to them alive.

So my question is, what is a solid 5 box instance comp? Right now I'm leaning towards priest, some tank, and 3 BM hunters. I'm not opposed to leveling up a new set from 1 because my recruit a friend xp bonus is still active.

Lastly, and I know this is in a weird spot, but thank you to MiRai for all of your videos on ISboxer. I just managed to get the grid/clique Video FX mouse click through window set up, and there's not a chance in hell I would have been able to do it without you.

I run War, 3xMM hunter and Disc Priest. Key for me was the mobility that hunters have to dps. I have not tried other dps types so I cannot say, but I can farm every heroic in WoD. However, you need around 695+ item level (could be wrong. It was for me) in order to farm them comfortably. Normals i breezed them through except Everbloom (last boss). The only boss that really gave me a hard time was Grimrail's Last boss, Everbloom Last boss and Shadowmoon Burrial ground 2nd boss.

War tank could be tricky to be honest. Their aoe skills needs timing. (mostly thunderclap) They are very mobile though. DK tanks could be powerfull but I don't know how rune management would need to be configured to be effective. Paladins are the best of choice for most of the boxers it seems due to having self-heal, nice sets of aoe and buffs.

I have to try out the BM hunter to be honest, but my gear is all focused in MM (Crit + Multi) and BM requires a lot of Mastery so have to change quite a lot of gear to acomodate that...
