Been looking at efficient ways to boost my team, has anyone done the Ruby Sanctum raid run lately and confirmed this to work?

I split your topic from the other one because it was old.
As for boosting... Ruby Sanctum no longer works, and the age-old method of running dungeon after dungeon is the only way that I know how to do it. However, to be fair, boosting has never really appealed to me all that much, and unless it's for just a single team with RaF, I'd much rather either run a mixed team through dungeons with the LFD tool, or quest with a team that doesn't meet the LFD requirements.

Yeah thats how i usually do it. I have 5 druids that i want to boost but i think i will just try and do LFD with them. I granted them levels though so gear will be an issue so maybe a few quests first to get them geared up or some cheap gear from the AH or what i already have in by bags

If your team can no use the LFD tool and you are willing to do a LIL extra leg work you can use max level toons with flyers to get around to stones and summon 3x of the team, then log over and summon the other 2 to run the instance as well.
It is how I leveled my many many many hunter farm teams.

Hey, New here but thought id share, I am currently leveling 5 druids and the setup I use is 1x guardian 1x Resto and 3x Balance. I am using LFD and after hitting level 15 I got to 41 within the first hour or so of chaining the finder. hope this helps

If you don't have a higher level character or friend to help fly you around you can always do what I do for 5 of the same class and missing a healer / tank (mainly hunters).
Join LFD with 3 dps, once inside pull everything in sight, as you want to die. Once dead and released, res at spirit healer, now you have 3 characters ready to summon your other 2.
You now need to jump inside the instance and go AFK for 10 minutes while the debuff fades go smoke get a drink.

I have been trying to do LFD with my druids as well, though I haven't setup macros properly yet, just being lazy they are level 74 atm and have no problem clearing trash in Utgarde Keep but I have yet to try the first boss even at 73 (the last level I was in the instance with them) because my tank will take a lot of damage quickly before I DPS the mobs down. I fear its a gear issue and I hate banging my head against a wall when doing instances, I tend to just do instances with 1 tank (pally), 1 spec healer (sham, priest) dps (mages, ele sham, or bommy druid) this is cause ranged DPS tend to keep out of the mix of the fight and take less damage and the tank can keep agro while the healer stays at a distance with dps and heals the crap out of the team when needed. I use Vid FX and healbot myself, which does work for me, same as clique and VFX imo though the only issue i have had was when using the mod keys like ALT or CTRL with clicks and moving my tank at the same time I tend to bug out the slave windows when using move keys with the mod keys pressed in the VFX window. nothing to get around that though. Unless Lax wants to add a feature to enable just the mod keys in VFX ;) not the whole keyboard.
Either way I suppose I can spec bommy on my dps druids and keep them ranged. Perhaps I can give that a try, though I have just under 2 months left now of RAF and have other teams I want to level.
At some point I will get around to a DPS rotation macro on my slaves, this time around I have been lazy doing that since wow has simplified the class abilities it has been mostly fine in downing quest mobs and trash in instances. Boss fights however tend to need a little more attention. Some bosses though are pretty easy to burn down. Wait till I get to cata cause last I tried a while back most bosses in that expac were not multiboxing friendly. For me at least.

I know this is a somewhat late reply, but i've found using a Prot Paladin to queue as a tank for LFD(on a different server, but one that's merged with your main one) usually ends up being the best / quickest option, then once you get to 85 / 90, grant your levels to the character you originally wanted to run with your group(If you're using RAF). I always do this simply because i've found that tanking through LFD queues with a Prot Paladin is the easiest with their rotation, and aggro holding / survival, they don't require much attention tanking up through the 1-85 instances.
