Hi I am quite new here, been lurking for a while but only just registered to post.

I just started boxing two shamans (iililil and iilil) after I played two warlocks to level 25 and got fed up with soul shards and the crap survivability as a low level warlock.

I was wondering, when does PVP get imba as a shaman? I am guessing 70 due to the gear imbalance? Or it might just be that I am getting raped by twinks.

Also, what macros should I use? At the moment I have identical tool bars so what ever one does, the other does the same and I am trying to find the best way to manage healing. How could I heal either of my shamans (using both) or my current target? I dont mind having two buttons but I currently have three! I heard there is some modifier like if I hold the alt button it will perform a different action?

Also, I love the idea in PVP against 1 target where the healing on one of my shamans will 90% be uninterrupted :D

for macros please check out the stickies. Tons of information to be found there.

as for being imba, well having 5 shamans at 70 is what gives you that in pvp, the focused burn from 5 lightning bolt crits (or partial crits) can drop or severely hiunder most targets in one round. with only 2 shamans you wont see much of that but you will get noticed less allowing you to hopefuly burn targets down before they get to you. This is as elemental spec btw.

I use Chain Lightning and Lightning Bolt a lot! As well as Fire Shocks. Thats just for starters. Your totems are your friends. As soon as you can do the quest in Sunken Temple for the Mana Totem, do it. Your going to find out that most players within 9 levels of your own level can be killed. The skulls ?? are the ones who will cause you the most grief. Once you get within their range then they wont be a problem for you. My group is presently 60/59/59/59/59 and I can PK most lvl 70s if I can get the jump on them. With the proper gear and lvl 70 PVP is going to be extremely fun lol.

oops...just saw your post on only 2 shamans? 2 vs 1 should not be a problem. Its just with having 5 you get that much more power shots. CL is a pretty potent spell cast.

2 Shamans won't be "imba" or whatever kids these days think that means. You'll be about twice as tough as a normal character in terms of DPS output, but you won't have the synergies of going with a 4/5xShammy setup in terms of totem defenses, melee tricks (5xFire Nova Totem), etc.

Sadly, I don't think 2x Shammies will ever be "imba".

Ok cheers for the feedback guys.

I would run more than two but I play on a laptop (Windows Vista Home Premium :: cpu: Intel Core Duo T2250 1.73GHz (at 1729 MHz) :: mem: 762/1919 MB (39%) :: gfx: ATi ATI Radeon XPRESS 1100 (1280x800x32bit 60Hz)) and the most I have tried running is 3 which could be ok but would be too laggy for pvp side of things and especially gay cos when you minimize WoW your party begins to run slower than normal.

2 shamans should still be fun I guess, not as great as 4 or 5. But I guess Id better make sure I pass this interview so I can then upgrade!

What would you say the minimum spec is to run atleast 4?
