I've been thinking of setting up a second team for ten boxing some raids.

First, is it even feasible with current content? I know there are people out there who're running 20+ clients causing all kinds of problems, that's not what I'm looking to do.

Secondly, in terms of hardware should I be looking into a second box or attempt to run everything on my main rig. Here's a link to my current build...

My wife has been talking about wanting a new PC, she wants AMD specifically. And since we're never using the office at the same time I could surely commandeer her machine for my needs if that's what I need to do to make it work. Here's a rough outline of what's going in her rig (she wants to stick with the trusty old Lian Li case, so going to be some modding to make things work).

So, what do you guys think?

Well, you could try to load 10 onto the Intel machine, and if you're willing to drop the resolution to say, 1600x900, or even 1280x720, I'll bet that you might be able to play at a nice, smooth 60 FPS. Otherwise, splitting the load between machines may be best option because you have limited cores/threads on the Intel machine, but because the AMD machine isn't all that powerful you may have to try something like a 6+4 setup. Also, multi-machine setups can be a pain at the moment with (assuming) ISBoxer, and require additional setup in the profile to get working correctly.

Yeah, I was actually figuring 6/4 anyway. I would like to have my main team and tank on one screen for sure. Probably both heals and the Shaman as well. Then Mage for CC.

I'm going to try with some throw away accounts, see how it runs with everything turned down low.

I set up a test and ran from the human starting area to Stormwind, then Ironforge. Kept at a solid 60 fps the entire time, so it looks like the green light for me. I've got a fair amount of tweaking to do before I'm satisfied but definitely worked a lot better than I expected.
