Its Timewalking Time again. They have added Magister’s Terrace since the last BC Timewalking event.

Magister’s Terrace

The weekly quest requires completing 5 dungeons and rewards a iLevel 700 item, the dungeons themselves drop 675 iLevel items. But remember we can get pets now from these, and even if you don't need gear Timewalking is the most fun you can have in PvE right now.

i been trying them on my 5 man druid team but not been going well, or though my mixed team clears them easy.

I see heroics as easy, Timewalking I call "not too bad". Its doable but you have to play the classes as they were intended to be played, cant roll through everything.

I think healing might be the exception, that's not quite tuned right. I don't really have any trouble healing unless I stand in something or a big overpull.

ya healing is a bit of a prob but my not a problem i found so far as mana regen is faster in timewalkers. talking about HC i manged to do a few on this group tonight very very cool group

yeah, i have to agree with the whole hunter + dual heals. pretty crazy, i have a fresh team of 5x hunters, and another one of 5x druids. my original idea was to use the hunters for random farming and instance running, while using the druids to do timewalking. i tried doing 5x cats, no go. 5x feral dps in bear forms, no go. 4x cats + one heal. nope. then tried bear, 3 cats and resto and it was a mess to control. in the end i realized i could mix hunters by pure chance.

was doing dailies on throne, when i spotted a crystal to loot, logged out a hunter, logged in a druid i keep parked there and while i was randomly spamming rejuv on a hunter i felt pretty dumb for not thinking about it before...

the hunters have average itemization and the druids have TERRIBLE itemization... they have all heirlooms with DREADFUL itemization (NO SPIRIT!)... true hobo tier, and yet they can still clear timewalking with ease.

once i get to gear the druids properly i guess i could do 2x boomys, or 1x boom 1x resto... as it is now, even with minimal macro preparation, and no experience at all i can burn them pretty easily. i cant rush them ofc, and i have to cc at times , but my gear is absolutely crap atm so things will improve.

the real perk druids and paladins bring is the simple fact they can fill both the heal and tank slot, and then go heal... that breaks the encounters. i been trying only some heroic dungeons, and even at 620ilvl the dual heals allow you to ignore a bunch of mechanics. but in the end druids still win, simply because of their atonement wraths. that's an easy spam button you can assign to all keystrokes and then just maximize the hunter DPS. and the hunters have lolpets... infinite tank rezzes is just amazing. boss hitting too hard? switch druids to dps, and the hunters to MM, then just get the insta rez glyph and send the lil bastards to their dead, over, and over again. the fights where the boss is a bitch to tank are real easy on the DPS.

the only problem is the UI... the only wipes i get besides the ones where i learn the fights, are wipes due to the damn ui bugging out and not letting me heal the pets on bossfights. for example im healing pet A, and all the heals for some reason land on pet 2... :confused:

but then again i haven't played any wow in about 8 months... i should probably bother to update add-ons. :p

What specs are you running them in?

My hunter pets got eaten alive last time I tried, but to be fair their gear was awful.

Anyone who can Timewalk without using the traditional tank, heals, 3xdps, has mad skills. That would be very tough.

There are a lot of old raid items that you can (ab)use to gimmick certain bosses though (mirror of broken images (http://www.wowhead.com/item=62471/mirror-of-broken-images) and sindragosas flawless fang (http://www.wowhead.com/item=50364/sindragosas-flawless-fang) comes to mind)

Yup. getting your tank BiS items and you can almost solo them. Get just one character doing 12k dps either the tank or a dps and they are a breeze. I say tank because you dont want a dps to pull aggro off all the time.
