Hi all :D
Just wondering if there is a way to accept an auction purchase with a macro? Kind of like our accept all macro:
/script AcceptGroup();
/script AcceptQuest();
/script AcceptTrade();
/script RetrieveCorpse();
Would make buying 50+ auctions a day much easier. Any help is much appreciated 8)

dont think you can make a macro do that...however I do believe there is an addon that at least searches for you... not sure though.

bottomscanner is still working. http://auctioneeraddon.com/Yea, but bottom feeder did it for you. Scanner simply finds them.
Fine line between automation and information.

In this case, the line is finer than one would think. When I think of how easy it would be to automate bottomscanner, it makes me cringe. I honestly hope Blizzard asks Norganna to handicap it even more, I have very little doubt there are folks out there that have set up a g15 macro to press that "Place bid" button and set up an auction house zombie.

as if being able to auto-buy auctions that meet a certain criteria will crumble the fragile walls of the economy as we know it... :rolleyes: :thumbdown:

Sure I agree that it's not automation in itself, and I can see why it's not contested, but if you don't recognize how powerful bottomscanner is you might want to have another look at it. With proper setup and the ability to take advantage of using it 24/7 you very well could "crumble the fragile walls of the economy." (Or at least mess with them substantially) Either way, it's been in place for a good while; I don't see it being an big surprise for Blizz. They know Auctioneer very well by now I'm sure.

I never knew that it used to be available. Guess I started playing after the Blizzard fun police got to it... ;(

You are under the mistaken illusion that the WoW economy has any substance at all. For a real economy see EVE.

How does a G15 keyboard automate mouse clicks? :PIt doesn't have to.

It doesn't have to.
/run if (BtmScan.Prompt:IsVisible()) then BtmScan.Prompt.Yes:Click() endI've actually opened several GM tickets for zombie behavior like this when dealing with auctions posted by specific people. They keep bidding on items until they reach a specific price point and then never bid again. Same people's auctions, the same items for over a week; no matter what time of the day (one day I checked at random during every half hour for 27 hours) they outbid me within 2 seconds of my bid. Too bad it hasn't been dealt with yet and is going on two weeks. It truly is a new rehash of bottomfeeder in whatever combo they are using.
