Yeah no kidding.

I am not a big fan of buttons on mice. Ever since I could I've assigned fire buttons to the keyboard in any FPS I play. Just because pressing buttons on the mouse aggravates the cursor precision.

When it comes to input peripherals less is more IMO.

Oh I like extra buttons, just clear of the thumb and middle finger "grasp" areas. I have one of the steelseries wow mice and I use the extra buttons regularly. Especially for things like isboxer Next character swaps or similar.
