It's posted on my blog, here: http://overload.clintandcindi.com/?p=53

I'd love feedback on the article, as well as other folks suggestions on strategies/tips for multiboxing BGs. If we get enough momentum, it might be wiki-worthy.

Nice writeup! I only have one comment:

I've found quad boxing in AV that strat that tends to make the biggest difference is to take the Aid Station. You don't want to take SP first because then all of their remaining D spawns at the AS and it'll take forever to grind through them with all the NPC's. With a 4 person 4 Fire elemental strike force I can ride straight through, drop tower aggro, pop 4x elementals and then EM/CL whatever defenders are there. Then all their D spawns at SP... Which by now should have a healthy amount of Horde offense at.

YMMV.

Nice write up, i really enjoy reading blogs. :)

On the WSG part.

I havent tried this tac since lvl 65 but it worked then, and could work on lvl 70 as well.
It requires some cooperation from your random team mates. They need to go as 1 team to get the other flag.

But in the 60-69 bracket i found that "setting camp" on the flag is really effective.
I place my main on the flag, and spread the 3 others out behind me.
The way the flag-area is formed, its easy to go LoS.

Mad respect to paint skillzor!

By standing there, they actually have to lock you down really hard, or even kill you to get the flag.
The top if the tunnel is in your range, so they cant pick you of from there, and should they try, you can actually kill people that are out of sight with CL
If they come from the ledge, you can hide, until they run around the corner.
Any melee can be softened with fire novas and finished of with CLs and shock.
Massive assaults can be fended of with fire elemental totems.

Should they kill you, you most likely have killed some of them, and they should be easy to pick off after you ress.

I have had moderate success with this tac, and basically won 70-80% when the team plays with me, and stay offensive.

I'm specifically thinking about a certain game I had defending the flag for at least half an hour with no caps on either side. The other 6 people simply couldn't organize themselves to get the flag and then later blamed me because I was defending our flag (which the other side never managed to get once during that time). Eventually I gave up and went on the offensive to get the game over with a loss anyways.

The problem I have on defense is that the flag runner can be in and out way too quickly. Also, on the first wave, it's typically 4 (me) versus 6-10 alliance. I can't both kill them all and prevent the flag from being taken. The best I can hope for is to kill a fair number of them, die, respawn, and mount up fast enough to pop the runner before he makes it back to their tunnel/base.

If I go early offense support, then I can 4xLHW a flag runner, nuke off any attackers, and potentially be ready to go for the big bursty kill on THEIR flag runner. That seems to work OK for now, but I still feel like a WSG liability and not an asset.

I tried the tactic last night.

It went so-so mostly because 2 people were just gawking at me, and later games they just couldnt go as a group.
The horde only got past me 2 times, but i eventually gave up on WSG... It sucks so hard.

I found 2 things i forgot to mention in the first post: your main needs to stay "loose" with the alts stationary until you need to move.
And secondly, in addition to keeping a magma totem at the "entrance", have an earthbind totem a little further out.
This will slow most runners enough to kill. (except those darn rogues)
