I wonder, do item budgets differ between main and off hand weaps? I'd think they wouldn't care if rogues wielded a caster mace if people so chose. :P

back before bc. for HWL and GM weapons (when you had to pay for them in tears, blood) mage blade came out was one handed. I had 2 on my hunter. This let me do insance arc and damage and healing for pet. worked for about 60 days and then a patch fixed it. made them main hand

Is bliz's deve team really that careless?

Do you even have to ask that question?

Shaman 2h weapon skill bug was around for the better part of 2 years before they fixed it. (the bug that would reset 2hand axe and mace skill to 0 every time the shaman respecced, even when switching from one enhancement spec to another enhancement spec)

As bad as that was it made sense to a point regarding how all the other skills worked, where if you respeced you had to retrain all skills. Like I said it definately sucked but it worked the same as the rest at the time.
The things that make you wonder are how the brutally nerf a class (like nerfing hunters to get 1 agility=1atk power instead of 2 and then removing a large portion of agility on all set pieces, and then several patches later giving us a mortal strike and purge lol)
