Northrend Timewalking Event September 2 – 7

Bonus events have been expanded to now start on Wednesdays and runs through the end of the day on Monday.


Timewalking is back. Take a trip to Northrend and experience these five Heroic dungeons:


Ahn’kahet: The Old Kingdom
Gundrak
Halls of Lightning
The Nexus
Utgarde Pinnacle


Don’t forget to pick up the event-only quest “A Frozen Path Through Time” before you queue up for Timewalking, as it rewards a valuable Seal of Inevitable Fate.

Even if you don't raid you should pick up the quest. In addition to the seal it awards a chest with guaranteed drop of iLevel 700 item.

I'm about to gear up so no 5s just yet, but I'll focus on challenge modes first

Anyone encountered oculus in the timewalk dungeons? Is that f*cking dungeon in the pool too?

You can see the dungeons in the news tidbit on your battle.net launcher. For the ones too lazy: Ahn'Kahet: The Old Kingdom, Gundrak, Halls of Lightning, The Nexus, Utgarge Pinnacle. So no Oculus thankfully.

Did a few of them on a mixed team at 650-670 ilvl. Quite easy overall. I did however find out that either I can not setup priests worth crap or then they just perform bad in that environment. Switched to a Shammy healer, no problems whatsoever.

Also: zomg Krusch is back. ^^

Gundrak final boss fucking rekt me today with his aoe bleed, funny to see how much easier it was with elemental shamans haha, downed him after I realized I have to push dps buttons harder

however the most hilarious thing today were the new rare mobs, everyone told me "kruschpak you cant do them without draenor flying", and I got to every single rare mob just with goblin glider+ordon death chime, didnt even have to use falling flame

did ahn kahet yesterday with a dk tank and found out that the spell flinger can still be controlled by dks (not fixed since forever...), so if you got a dk in your team make use of his ability to two shot bosses

Looks like Adventure Mode ala diablo is coming to wow in Legion
