3 Box Spec

hey guys, can anyone give me a good spec I should use while leveling 2 locks and a priest? I plan on going holy on the priest. I was thinking affliction for the locks, but isn't that more for drain tanking? I would imagine, I should be using my voids to tank and just stack dots? That seems to work well. I just started and I'm lvl 15 so far. Anyone have any suggestions?

I am doing this same thing right now and I feel my setup is 'just add more' with respect to the locks.

I have a 'grind' macro which is simple /castsequence where the locks do their dots, agony, corruption, wand. I use the succubus rather than the VW. The mob seems to ping pong between the succubus in confusion and it acts as form of crowd control of sorts. Before any real damage occurs the mob is dead. When I am in an instance I use another macro where I immolate rather than wand and follow up with bolts if need be.

I use the priest holyraider spec, low threat and efficiency, there is little change of procing a spirit tap with all the micro damage going on and the prayer of healing and solid regen is quite well suited. I dislike twitch so I didn't go the shadow priest route.

I have a hybrid demonology / affliction spec. Eventually I will go for a stronger demonology spec, but in the mid levels the gear doesn't lend itself to making that work.

With a bunch of 10k health locks with ~8k health voidwalkers and manafeed. Things look like a perpetual motion machine.

If I were to make a change, like moving to Mag, I might go with two priests one face melt and the other holy and 'just add more' locks.

thanks hpavc, that sounds pretty sweet. I will definitely use succubus for grinding, 5 more levels to go. demonology seems to make most sense if I'm not gonna be drain tanking

Someone with improved imp out if you don't need the demon lovefest is nice since they all get the bonus too.

When you get high enough level (~lvl 50 or so) speccing destro works quite nicely - make your priest shadow for mana regen, and just burn down the mobs. I find afflictions locks (as a pair/group from experience of playing with them) too slow and mana-ineffcient.

My $2c. Remember to drainsoul most mobs as you kill them as you burn through shards like nobodies business as destro

I would suggest going shadow with your priest. When grinding you will not need to do a lot of healing.

Hmmm, unless you're planning on AoE grinding.

I run a Priest/Mage/Warlock and my priest is usually in shadow form when world-grinding. I only need to heal in instances.

My 'lock is demonology because I need my VW/Felguard to tank.
