Intro
Decided to try Season 2 and started 4x monks. After a rough start because of the slow melee grind, I was finally able to do T6. Tempest Rush is one of the fastest builds for speed runs and Lightning is the best IMO. Fire is easier but lacks AoE in open maps. This build can work for GR30+ but u will need decent damage and a little more toughness. For GR I would recommend Cold TR instead of Lightning or just WoL standard build.

Build
This is a fairly simple build without round robins.

Monk#1: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#VPcSjk!Ziaf!YaYcbb
Monk#2: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#VPcSjh!ZiSf!YaYcbc
Monk#3: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#VPcSjh!ZiSf!YaYcbb
Monk#4: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#fPcSjQ!ZiSf!ZaYcbY

Unity passive doesn't work with Mantra of Conviction so I went with a defensive passive. I rather use Dishearten instead of Annihilation cause it procs Bane of the Trapped in 30 yards and since the build has very good AoE, u will always have the debuff. Also helps locking up annoying ranged mobs than run a lot. Goblins packs are a lot easier to kill with Dishearten. But if survivability is an issue, u can always change Fleet Footed passive with Harmony or Sixth Sense and go with Annihilation.

Items
Basically u just need Sunwuko's set to start the build but in order to do T6 speed runs, u need a few more items:

Helm: Leoric's Crown with Flawless Royal Diamon. Crit chance, TR damage and DEX are best rolls. Secondary resist if u plan to use Harmony passive.
Amulet: Sunwuko's. Crit chance, crit damage and dex. Secondary resist if u plan to use Harmony passive.
Shoulders: Sunwuko's. Dex, Vit, CDR and all res or %life. Secondary resist if u plan to use Harmony passive.
Gloves: Sunwuko's. Dex, crit chance, crit damage, CDR. Secondary resist if u plan to use Harmony passive.
Bracers: Reaper Wraps. Lightning damage, dex, vit, crit chance. Secondary resist if u plan to use Harmony passive.
Chest: Inna's. Dex, vit, all res/armor/reduced damage from elites. Secondary resist if u plan to use Harmony passive.
Belt: Inna's. Dex, vit, %life and all res/armor/life regen. Secondary resist if u plan to use Harmony passive.
Pants: Hexing Pants of Mr Yan. Dex, vit and all res/armor/life regen. Secondary resist if u plan to use Harmony passive.
Boots: Crudest Boots. Dex, vit, TR damage and all res/armor/life regen. Secondary resist if u plan to use Harmony passive.
Rings: Lightning SoJ + RoRG with crit chance and socket. Secondary resist if u plan to use Harmony passive.
Weapon: Ancient Warstaff of General Quang is BiS. With this weapon u can change all the speed skills and add more toughness/damage. Otherwise, any 2H anciente mace/polearm will do the job. 4000+ dps is recommended.

Use Emeralds in armor unless you're too low in resistances, if so use Diamonds.

Gems
Bane of the Trapped: multiplicative damage and with MoC dishearten, the whole screen will have the debuff.
Gem of Efficacious Toxin: 40% debuff in party and DoT.
Taeguk: good additive damage + armor.
Bane of the Powerful: it's decent but Taeguk scales better and also gives armor but if u dont have Taeguk, this is the next best option.
Pain Enhancer: fairly decent damage when u don't have lvl25 gems.

My choice are the first 3. But if u don't have lvl25 gems, u can go with Toxin, Pain Enhancer and Bane of the Powerful instead. The DoT will kil most trash off screen.

Gameplay
Not much to say here but run around and kill stuff. Use Epiphany to generate Spirit or whenever u face annoying packs. If Epiphany is on cooldown, use your Air Ally. For elites, use EP and they should blow almost instantly. If your damage is not the best, try to lure some trash so EP explosion kills the pack. For RG just EP and run around it. Pull some trash if u are in a hurry.

Use sweeping wind to keep your Taeguk stack at max all the time. You have to be at 6.6% max reduce resource otherwise it wont proc Taeguk. This is way Fire TR with Cindercoat can't use Fire sweeping wind and proc Taeguk. I added a keymap on IsBoxer so whenever I press 3, it casts sweeping wind in all my monks. That way I don't lose stacks even if I'm switching chars to loot.

U can use Gungdo Gear for the monks that do EP and Strongarms for Cyclone Strike monk, but that's kinda overkill. Besides u might run into Spirit issues. For T6 is not really needed. Maybe for GR but Cold is a better option IMO.

Keep in mind that Cyclones can kill your FPS. I dunno why but I drop pretty hard sometimes. I can't add much moving speed cause of this. If I add more moving speed, it's way to hard to control the group and end up with a lot of dsyncs. If this is a problem for u, then try Fire TR instead.

How do You cast Sweeping Wind to stack Taeguk ?
Do You use any macro or some Key Maps in ISBoxer ?

U can use the numlock trick or mouse drivers.

Yes I know that I can use Numlock trick and I know it :) but I know that there is also a trick to cast it even when You swap between characters :)

Slonik, share you trick, unless it is not some kind of AutoHotKey script :-)

I don't know that trick but guy from StreamerHouse uses it - and I think he made it with some Macro key

There's really no trick. U just create a keymap in Isboxer to send the key to all chars. It's a standard keymap broadcasted to all chars. From there u can use whatever u want to spam that key, manually or a macro (third party software, keyboard drivers, mouse drivers, etc.). Mods in this forum dont like to talk about third party software, so that's up to u. Inigo uses his logitech mouse drivers to bind macros to buttons so he can spam 22222222222 or whatever your hotkey is to trigger your keymap in IsBoxer and it will make all monks cast the skill regardless of which monk is main. The numlock trick won't work if u switch chars and u will keep stacks on your active window only unless u manually press the hotkey to keep casting SW.

Only problem with macros - I'm in a clan and like to chat, so automatic button mashing does not work for me.

I was thinking about sending SW button press in addition to any other actions I do. Like - I press (and/or hold) my movement key, it keeps SW button pressed. Same for other buttons.

Fire for TR seems to be quite a bit more efficient especially when coupled with strongarm bracers as the buff stacks for each person in your party using them.

I can do 3 min level 30 rifts with my 3 monks fire TR build currently. I don't play for high progression in GR on my boxing characters only for my mains so it makes it a lot of fun to just speed through stuff for shards and what not.

TR is for sure underrated.

The idea of this build is for speedfarming T6, not really GR. It may or may not be more efficient than Fire cause of EP + Implosion but RG could take a while. For T6, strongarms wont really matter cause everything dies in 1 pass. Still I'll give it a shot and see how fast GR30 is.
