Whats the most efficient way to 5box for gold in WoD?

And for those of us lazy with professions: Old instances are still quite decent gold. Cataclysm raid bosses on 25 HC, for example, drop about 625g a piece and pretty much flop over when you just look at them. And of course you get to vendor the drops for a little bit extra as well, so they're not bad gold for how little effort they require.

I cba with the whole trapping game, thus I have a salvage yard in combination with the enchanting building (and tailoring for the bags). Tons of items to vendor/DE each day, and the occasional raid epic or worthy item from the past. And the trading post obviously (to trade gar resources for mats that you can auction).

if you want to get gold by just killing and looting, then 5 druids running around casting starfall(40yd radius aoe that moves with you) just clears entire areas effortlessly. coupled with autoloot its even got me grinding mobs again just because its so insanely easy. The main issue is finding enough mobs.
Im on a pvp server and starfall doesnt discriminate, so its got me killed a few times when ive tickled a L100 DK hiding in the bushes or whatever :)

Cata normal bosses drop nice gold, but heroic ones are even better, 25m heroic firelands is a gold mine. if you have classes with autocleaves (eshamms, balance lolfalldruids, BM hunters, etc)you can run multiple instances in parallel instead of having the whole team doing one.

Step 1: Make new group of 3-4 characters at level 85 and stop their EXP gains
Step 2: Make guild
Step 3: Run tol-vir with a level 100+ the new alts 7 times
Step 4: Collect 250g per run for guild completion + 36 gold per character (180) + ~ 200g in greys/cloth etc (for a total of around 4k gold). Take gold out of guild bank added for the completions.
Step 5: re-make guild and do it again in an hour.

This means you will generate 4,000 gold or so and it will take you approximately 20 mins to do if you are a fast class such as a druid or mage or something. Boomkin is probably fastest for completing the instance. can do this infinitely if you have enough accounts.

Alternatively if you are alliance you can do the same thing but it will only yield around 1750g per 7 runs but you can do that in 7-8 mins by using the stockades instance with your characters locked around level 20. Doing this is best with a warlock or mage for speed boosts + blink. Rocket boosts will also increase clear speed.

I tried this at the start of wod. You need rep with the guild. Before u can get gold. I tried when i was leveling a new group.

Friend is doing this now. So i dunno. I quit wow about a month into WoD.

The way I use to do it was pretty simple... 3 servers, farm sra'vess on all 3 servers on boomkin before first server respawned. It was around 5k per hour in pure gold after vendoring the cloaks you made + selling greys/greens. If you can make the epic bags then even better.

Hm heroic - would get a drop on avg every hour. Came out to roughly 40-50k per hour since each sold for 40-50k on the AH. I got bored after a while and stopped, but ended up making 300-400k from it.
