PTR 6.1 Going live soon™

so 6.1 has been added to the ptr! always a fun time to read on stuff and was thinking ill make the topic now before we end up with a lot.

lots of cool stuff if you want to check it out its been data minded over mmo-champion or though the server are not live yet as always they seem to get a lot of cool stuff out of it as always.


Ill keep this topic updated with multiboxing stuff as i always try and do.

would be cool to try and find out how the new system works for us with many of the same looms.

Somthing i would like more info is

"There is a new account type that has similar restrictions to Starter Edition accounts, called a Veteran Edition account." Maybe some new RAF stuff we can really use as a boxer.

They target capped Flame Lash for Enhance Shaman, and modified Starfall so it only affects targets with your dots on them. They also lowered Ravager and Whirlwind damage for Warriors.

Multi-shot got a damage increase though!

"Veteran Edition" sounds like the "silver" accounts in games that were sub-based and then opened up to f2p, like DDO, LotRO and EQ2. Perhaps they're finally letting us play our own accounts as F2P+ so we don't have to use a starter edition when we get the urge. Interesting.

Reminder: Don't trust datamining, especially of spell coefficient changes. I believe nearly all of those are things that were hotfixed live.

Again, nearly all of those datamined class spell changes are things that are *already live* via hotfix; just tooltip updates. Relax!

Spell coefficients are one thing, but the target caps and wording changes are another.

Does anyone have some problems with addons for healing mostly? (such as clique+grid, vuhdo, healbot) When I log to character, I got error #134 instantly. Jamba, UI addon and other works fine.
