Hey everyone,
Been a few years since I've played. Reactivated all 10 accounts and upgraded to Draenor. No idea what I am doing yet lol, but I did manage to get everyone to level 91 and have the first couple buildings in the Garrison going along with a few followers.
Here is what I know so far for garrisons.
1. You can do 60% or so of the quests as a group. You do however have several quests at the beginning you must do solo.
2. You can work together in one garrison if you want. Just have the leader invite, make sure each character has added the others as friends. Then on the non-leader characters right click your portrait and select "Join Leader's Garrison".
3. I did the solo ones I could on the leader while also knocking out the ones the group could get credit for. Just right click your portrait again and select "return to my garrison". You can then just turn in the ones you did in the leader's garrison together.
4. Although not real smooth if you turn on broadcast I was able to walk them all to the turn-ins even though they were in separate instances.
That's all I've got for now.
Is there anyone who has leveled the garrison's fully up? If so, did you do it on all characters? Is it worth doing it on all characters? Does it take a lot of time each day individually to level or maintain the quests?
If anyone has any advice or tips when leveling garrisons on 10+ accounts please post it here. We can use this thread as the garrison advice thread if one currently doesn't exist.
Thanks for the advice and good luck everyone.

What quests can you do as a group? O_o you still have to pick them up/turn them in within your own garrison regardless though no? So the only ones that seem doable within your garrison as a group is the mine/herb garden ones because of kill credit.
Most of the beginning ones are really the ones that matter most and those are all done within your own garrison where group credit wouldn't really make sense? (like building things etc)
I'm currently running 55 Garrisons, and I don't know a thing about them really..
..except the fact that each newly started garrison grants 1 GR (Garrison Resource) every 10 minutes (Garrison Cache)
My main team is 5 mages, and they are not even level 92 yet, but each of them have Town Hall upgraded to level 2 due to not skipping any quests.
This unlocks the blueprints for professions that you do not have, and some other goods.
Currenly my favourite house is Trading Post level 1, because that's where you get a vendor, who will sell you ores, herbs, meat etc for exchange for GR.
Each of my mage had some "overleft" GRs, around 400 GR each. and so I spent 2000GR in total for purchasing Gorgond Flytraps, which had highest Auction House value. 20g each or so. I can't remember the exact amount of herbs I just put on AH, but I had like almost 400 of them :)
I guess my goal will be to level all my toons at least to this point, so I can earn GRs when they are offline, and then trade them to mats which have the best demand.
I'm very interested in having own mines and gardens, but those require levels 92 and 96 if I remember that right.
An own personal mine per each character is awesome, even at level 1.
Mages just dinged 92, and I mined all 5 mines, resulting like 75 both types of Ores in total. The mines refresh every day (same time than dailies) Later on, when you upgrade your Lunarfall Excavation, the nodes will be "rich" :)
Enchanter's Study is great, since even non-enchanters can DE the unwanted gear from follower missions/questing/etc..

Few tips
If you have the Lunarfall Inn, there is a quest to do Slag Mines and get an item.. the item is a few trash pulls from the entrance ( can just get the item and skip bosses if you want). It gives good exp and a box with a random lvl blue in it.( once a day )
If you have an Enchanters Study.. you can make that toon leader.. and anyone that is in your instance can use it to DE blue and green items. great way to turn used quest items or BoP drops you cant use into enchanter mats
You might already know this but the garrison mine has ore that can be mined by anyone..first thing i do is mine when i log in on all my toons. I'm guessing the herb garden will work the same way ( dont have it yet )

I need to do the garrison start and tannan jungle after i finish farming this leather today with my friend, cause i also have 50+ toons on 3 different servers.
The problem is that ore and herbs are going to shit the bed for prices because everyone gets them for free.

I find I'm making plenty of gold via questing, so I just use the garrison/professions to be self-sufficient.

I'm interested to see a spreadsheet for what combinations are the most profitable for a garrison. This must exist somewhere.

I'm interested to see a spreadsheet for what combinations are the most profitable for a garrison. This must exist somewhere.
They will all be equally profitable until month 4 basically, then enchanting will basically be the best profession to have until the next tier is out which enchanting will still be strong and only out-done by other professions if there is another set of items to come out.
Can't have a spreadsheet to show profitability when no prices are even close to set and no one knows the actual drop rate of bloods from barns and such.
Also my math shows that in about two to three weeks the garrison mine/herb garden likely won't be worth doing for boxers that are able to do 4k+ gph doing other things.

•Log on all your 90's!!! Your level 90's wont start earning resting xp untill you log them on after WOD released. I believe it takes 10 days to max out your rested XP. (1 bar for every 8 hours or 30 bars for 1.5 levels)
•Quest all your 90's to the garrison so your garrison cache starts building up resources (~125 a day cache max:500) you therefore can plan ahead to buy the level 3 garrison as soon as you hit 100.

I leveled my 5 shamans, after hitting 100, have focused on garrison resources and leveling up some of the buildings. 3 toons have a few lvl 3 buildings, one just got the storehouse to lvl 2 (access to bank, lvl 3. Gets me the guild access) all have the herb and mines that i do daily, for lumber u need to go to nagrand. Still trying to figure the best way to do what and get the crafting recipes using the daily research.
Most professions seem to require quite a bit of mats and such, plus like 20+ days to get enough mats for high end items.
