How many of you bought Warlords for your boxing accounts?

I did ages ago but refunded the 4/5.. and there is part of me that is unsure if it's worth boxing it. I did play a bit of beta, but didn't see enough of it to decide if from a pve perspective it was worth boxing.

On another note I am enjoying playing Marvel Heores 2015 - anyone boxed this?

I did buy 5x and planning on playing. However, won't be on for the launch due to real life commitments. Just going to level casually as I am in no real hurry to get everything leveled. Did that for the last few expansions and it really drained a lot of the fun out of it. Plus, actually playing during launch has been a huge pain in the past due to over population and constant server crashes, characters getting stuck, etc.

First team starts out in 9 hours. I have the rest of the week off just to kick back with my little 5 man armies (9 teams) and my 5 solos. Look forward to fighting people over mobs until dawn ;)

I will be 5 boxing a Paly, resto sham, two ele shams and a mage first ( because they have all the trades covered ). Based on how the leveling goes I will decide if i want to continue boxing or go solo.

I took a week off.. the wrong week 8( .. i had the dates wrong in my head when i requested the days off. So i will be one week behind lol. My vacation starts next Friday, and I have the whole week of Thanksgiving off. But the next few days are going to be full. I wont get any good game time in until late Friday afternoon. I work a long day Thursday and have a company meeting Thursday night.

Im making my return to WoW for this expansion after having left in Cata, i played briefly with MoP just to max level, then quit. Ill be solo leveling my main monk the first week and a half. I had to take thanksgiving week off for childcare, but that will turn into letting my daughter destroy the house while i 5 box level. (while still taking care of my daughter of course :-P). My Team is still undecided, i left my original paladin 4 shaman team back on the horde side. The team im was planing on play is a mixed Paladin/MAge/WArlock/Shaman/Priest group. Which has all the trades covered, and extra alchemy.

Between WoW, and the catchup im doing in FFXIV for the expansion next year. i should be fairly busy over the the next 2 quarters.

Yep, all ten accounts upgraded and ready to go. Even bought an LG 34UM95 to replace a 30" monitor that gave up the ghost this weekend. Will be nice to see some new challenges to overcome.

I haven't upgraded my multiboxing accounts yet, no. This is a new set of RaF and I rarely ever upgrade the accounts before I am nearing the level cap of the prior expansion set.

I upgraded months ago. I am unsure of my initial team though. I have way too many possibilities to choose from so I am just going to grind as many characters to 100 before I feel the burn out kicking in.

All 5 of mine are upgraded. I've been ignoring all the articles about the expansion. As I'm the explorer type, I figure I'll get more enjoyment out of it by letting it all be new for a bit.

I haven't upgraded and likely won't until the beginning of 2015. Somehow I'm not at all excited by the new expansion. I think BC /CATA / LK spoiled me. Haven't had the same kind of enjoyment in MOP and it appears that WOD is more of the same.

I can't comment. I loaded 2x5 groups. It is a pain but faster in the long run; once I have been through the content once it is really hard for me to redo it. Besides I have to keep up with Merc ;)

I am on Chamber of Aspects.. medium server.. no queues but I was booted off a lot after it went live.. but by 1 am I could get down to some questing.

Today has been really good.. got part way through garrison and now noone can go there or they get stuck.. questing has been awesome.. even for picking something off the ground.. had to collect eggs.. each egg was lootable by each of my girls. I also love that a quest reward can roll as a green, blue or purple.. one of my hunters got lucky with a 533 chest.

I am very happy and expected bugs, so far the easiest expac for a boxer as far as questing goes & the game is stunning :)

Edit.. in shadowmoon wandered into an area with normal, elite and silver rare lvl 100's.. could kill the normals.. but the silver elites 2 hit me lol

Moving around 5 accounts separately though the Garrison is so time consuming. And I thought the farm sucked. I'm using directional key broadcast to try and sync them and move them to each new NPC. Saves some time, but sill annoying. If anyone has any tips, that would be great.

It sucks A LOT.

Worst thing about it is that its a required quest line, and is basically the main focal point of the expansion. On top of that if you miss one quest turnin and you accidentally turn one in that phases you to another phase where that npc no longer exists that quest is now lost to the void.

I find it helps alot to raid mark all your toons so you can see their locations in the mass hysteria of some of the fights. When your toons are stacked on top of each other or inside a large mobs model the symbols are still highly visable. this is also good for the large amount of phasing. hold "move other forward" bind till you see symbols pop out of thin air.

what i do with Garrison is i do the quests and then portal them to the leaders they port at the door of the garson ready to be picked up on the way out.

On my server if you go to the garrison now you get stuck in there.. so many are stuck on the fp mounted above... and the instances dont work.

The lag is unreal. All of my alts are on locked servers :(

damn queueueues.
managed a small play earlier. had to spend a few k on the AH to get my team above i500 lol, then managed to drop the first boss in slag heap or whatever its called. huge leap in mob difficulty from panda heroics, tank getting crit for 9k by trash lol.

how can my position in the queue go up!?
grr, 130min wait atm.. not looking good for tonight.
neptulon was only a medium full server before wod. blizzard must be loving it :)

They've temporarily lowered the maximum amount of characters allowed on a realm to help troubleshoot some latency issues and, as a result, the queues times have increased.

In attempts to pinpoint latency related issues we’ve temporarily lowered the maximum number of people allowed in each realm. This will result in higher queue times as realms who have populations above the cap will not allow any new players in until it decreases back down below the new player cap. We’re continuing work on this and other issues impacting game latency.

Well, consider that if your network spike only lasts a few days or weeks every 2 years, then does it make sense to expand enough to accomodate it? Sometimes it's no more sinister than pure congestion of a finite resource.

Yup, my main's realm that is usually listed as "new players" (read:empty) now all of a sudden has a 40 minute que.
Think I'll just try logging on during quiet hours. It's always the same story during expansion launches.

After sleeping on the problem and thinking about it i am thinking of using click to move during times of bad phasing or using the arrow keys to move, depends on which one is more smooth.

Got a very brief look at the first zone near the portal, it is stunning. I haven't been keeping tabs on the expansion outside of some of the changes to PvP like CC and the stat squish. So right now it is really feeling like a fresh new game. Sadly my realm is in the high thousands of queues, and I am not sure when I will be able to get my teams in to start levelling.

Has anyone been able to confirm that you can still do the quests in a raid group?

And I think my only gripe would be the reliance on these Garrisons. I like the idea, but being forced to use them as a boxer seems too tedious for my liking.

I find them truely annoying. My best work around i have been using so far is using click to move.
Click fist char to place, Click second character to the same place then carry on through to 5 or whatever many chars you're using.

When the main phases out I turn around and phase back then it's fine they all follow again - only happens in a few places for me. I fought the lag and got to 92 and a half.. just going into the second zone now. I have done all the quests and a few of them reward you with garrison followers.. so if you care about that don't skip anything.

I always used Jamba Follow Strobe while traveling. When I hit a phase line, I push everyone forward with the arrow keys a few yards then wait a second. Jamba's Strobe will kick in and round everyone up. Click to move gets chaotic when you're dealing with traveling in the air, water or obstructed/varied views.

This is exactly what I do. I use the G13 and have the joystick mapped to push all others in the cardinal directions. Helps a lot when maneuvering around those narrow staircases too.

I upgraded all 6 of my accounts and got in some good lag free play yesterday morning. Then did some exercise and when I tried in the afternoon the ddos had started and it was no Bueno. I am liking the garrison a bunch. I hope the feeling doesn't sour over time.

So far though - this has been a very enjoyable leveling experience - at least as a solo character. I'll probably upgrade one or two accounts as soon as my main is raid ready. Garrisons are pretty fun (solo) and the pacing is Much better this time around. No more 14 hour levels!

Aside from buggy quest NPCs, the pick-up items and general questing mechanics (through 92) have been excellent.

EXCEPT for garrisons. Trying to avoid those like the plague now. Nothing particularly broken about 'em, I just hate having to do them solo.

My wife and I hit 100 on our mains while partied. Took around 1.5 hours per level - mostly because garrisons are slow. Still a pretty decent experience though.
