Yeah, I know. Guild wars.

I've played my share of WoW, EQ, etc.. and I've moved on to something that my girlfriend wanted to try SO.. Guild Wars it was. Well I've found myself with a surplus of time here and there and she cant play so I'd like to progress both of us at the same time.. only problem is I can't seem to figure out how to dual box the GW client. Anyone have any remedies?

There's a command to "call out" a target (I believe it's shift+space but it's been a while) and a command to assist your target (I believe "t" -- it's been a while). Spacebar will automatically run you to that target and start autoattacking.

Inside your menu there's a list of keybindings. Unbind your 'wasd' keys, rebind the "call target" on everyone except your main, perhaps rebind your 1-8 keys on your alts, and you should be golden. :)

GW seems like an easily multibox-able game from what I remembered back when I played. That was pre-Nightfall. :P

You'll have to clarify the question.

Are you using software? Hardware? Are the keypresses being sent/not sent?

the process of opening two clients of the game. Guild wars with account #1 and guild wars with account #2. I can't get past this step. I'm not using any software at the moment.. it just opens the same box that the previous one opened. I've used some methods but none of them work. (Two copies of the game in seperate folders with different names, seperate file names, etc.)

Here is a method I've used that worked for me:

Only thing I had a problem with was movement, as I don't recal GW having any sort of Follow ability?

There isnt' a follow ability, but there is a "move to target" ability which is 100% more useful (except if you're trying to flagrun, heh). There's also click-to-move.

What you can do is use your "target player" keys which I believe are f1-f8 and then press spacebar. Alternately, you can target an enemy using the assist feature by pressing "t" (I think) after a target has been "called out" (using "shift+space" by your leader). Once you have an enemy targeted, pressing spacebar will move you to the maximum casting distance (melee is adjacent, ranged is that "aggro circle" on the minimap) and start wanding/autoattacking.

It's possible in theory. I have 3 accounts from my past GW craziness. Never tried multiboxing it though since I have little interest in GW pve, and I would need to catch up on the pvp changes since I left about a year ago.
