I guess I shouldn't be surprised about it, but, I was on Deadflow (freshly boosted to 90 through WoD purchase) and I get a tell that simply said "Level 90 boosted nob". I don't know if he was calling me a knob or noob, but, thought it odd.
Really? When you purchase WoD, you're not going to boost a character to 90 for free? Yeah right!
Just found it stupid and slightly annoying. Is this a thing now?

If someone can make it a thing, then it will be a thing.

Maybe he was actually calling you a nob (british slang for noble)? Were you wearing a monocle?
People are jerks and will look for new things to be jerks about.

Unfortunately I wasn't wearing a monocle ;)
Yeah, I guess people never grow tired of finding ways to crap on others. *sigh*
Oh well, at least there is the ignore command.

I am British and Knob is well you know.. no one calls each other nobs (unless they cannot spell) and never heard a noble ref before.
I'm sure they meant noob.

Discworld! I assumed it was general British slang but I guess it is just Discworld.
