I'm an old Eve player experimenting with multi-boxing for the first time recently. I have a few different setups I've been filtering between. One for PvE, PvP, mining, etc. Though all of my setups are working decently for me at the moment I'm looking for inspiration from other multi-boxers on what their UI/VideoFX screens look like.
If at all possible I'd simple like some screenshots from some of you on what your layouts are like. Can include a brief summary of what's going on too, if not no worries I can probably figure it out.
Thanks in advance!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peBPbR-sPck well this is one way to do it, dont need to have a bazillion characters to get some inspiration. He explains whats going on too.

just watched mosg'd 47 minute video explaining his vid feed set up... i really need to put in the time to set that up >_> im basically using something similar to ughmyhead's setup with controlling everything from mainwindow and having dxnothing on the side for just information display.
didnt even occur to me to use the dxnothing with mouse click and pretty much ignore most of the game client windows. ill have to sit around and set something like this up sometime.
the only issue i see is that i fly a LOT of different ships and they all have different types of layouts. even same ships ill fly them differently. ill have to find a work around for taht.
also anyone familiar with the pasta guy taht multiboxes like 50 bombers? im curious how his setup runs.

The cool thing about the way I arranged my setup is that the upper-right DxNothing window can stay the same for any setup. It displays the overview slices, the mini-clickbars for reps, the repeater indicators, and then the first six module slots of each character. So when you change your modules around, you just put the activated modules that you always want on in the first six slots.
The bottom-right DxNothing is more flexible. The HUDs are about the only part that need to say the same size (it can be moved though).

im just going to need to adapt your setup to work with what i fly as well.
i fly a fleet of active tanked ships and that can be a bit of a hassle handling all of those reps.

Well I tried to make my own variation of your setup, so far things are working out decently. Still have issues with my repeater regions and the HUDS actually doing what I want, I'll just have to work out the kinks. Your indepth video makes things a lot easier to learn and implement though. Was trying to make your setup just by watching the initial video of you using it, that didn't work out so well hah.

Active tanking should be easier. Just activate a click bar above the huds and the overviews of the ships you are in need of repairing. Can do it from overview to start reps while being yellow-boxed for armor ships to reduce the chances of taking any damage.
As a side note, what ships do you fly? And what do you use them for? I tried to make active tanking work in c5 sites, never could get it to work.

if you want active tanking in c5 sites then you need a marauder or alternatively a really pimped out rattlesnake.

i fly things like cyclones, tengus, vexors, myrms. i try to be as flexible as possible and fly just about everything.
edit: i should also point out at these ships are for pvp and not for pve. for pve i have a decent setup that works. active tanked bling fit 100mn tengus. vexor navies and domis.

What kind of PvE though? I dont think you can active tank a T3 in c5 sites, right?
I tried Rattlesnakes, and they needed remote cap xfer to be viable. unless my skills are just bad.

i usually dont risk the tengus for anything other than stuff thats pretty safe because they run for about 3.5b each :P
also a lot of fits of mine also use cap transfer to be cap stable.
the drone boats are usually spider tanked to keep their buffer maxed while still being able to run remote reppers and be stable.
for pve i do mostly null stuff. 7/10 and better. usually do 10/10 in under 30 minutes at most. and most of the time is going from gate to gate.

Maybe someone can help me out, Im having an issue with the Repeater Region for my Overview, I have a click bar setup like Mosg2 but when I swap VideoFx and Repeater layouts for different leaders My repeater stops functioning correctly i have to open the Videofx UI and have to manually sync the Repeater Region then everything works until I switch to a different leader.
1) Repeater region is named as DPS
2) Is there a way to keybind Repeater Regions to sync?

unless im misunderstanding the question, Mosg goes over this in his video where hes talking about his capacitor and his switching leader. youre going to need to do some manual text based editing to get those to work properly.
basically when you swap leaders youre going to need to reload the dxn regions to reflect it. i recommend watching his video again where he talks about hsi setups and has a notepad open with a bunch of text. thats the part where he explains how his leader swap hotkey works.

I have all that, each character has their own repeater region setup saved as leader1 for slot 1, leader2 for slot 2 ect that only load when I right click on the click bar for the corresponding character.
I don't Know why but manually syncing, then saving and restarting seems to have fixed it.

Repeater Regions are the buggiest portion of ISBoxer. I find that frequently, a computer reset plus a reload from ISBoxer will fix a lot of issues with it.
Oh, before I forget: Repeater Regions can not be placed on the 0 vertical axis. They'll bug out. You have to place them on pixel 1. Pro-tip :)

Just going to hop on this thread :D. Mosg how do your drones work ? I have tried a video fx with a repeater region in the dxnothing but all that does is broadcast to a random part of the screen.
Crayonbox

You cant do a broadcast directly from the dxn screen. I have it set up that the DXN screen has a feed from a single client which area is synced to the other clients. and THAT area is what is broadcasted, not the area in DXN.

Yeah I tried that but how do you get the video fx broadcast through a repeater region to all the other windows ?\

I'll get to this on my guide but for right now.
Ok so you want to put a Repeater Region in your dxnothing window and have it broadcast to only a certain section of your screen? Well your in luck
VideoFX Setup
Ok so accomplish this we will need to place a few more VideoFX Sources on at least one of your characters, most times a leader type character(thats what should be posted tonight the leader switching ect) On your leader character setup VideoFX Sources and name them accordingly I.E. Drones, Watchlist, Module slots 1-5 ect.
You'll also need to copy your Lead characters Overview Settings to all the characters you wish to broadcast to or setup your entire overview the same as your leader. GarpaUI (http://forums.ponywaffe.org/topic/4701-garpa-uniform-interface-copy-overview-etc-settings-to-every-char/) or there is a nice little right up here (http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5645&sid=a0383c1eb88f8386086f582d8403ade7#p26398).
Ok once you've done naming and placing all your VideoFX Sources Save the setup as something other than auto. Save it as Leader or Leader1(No space when saving). All your alts will remain with auto, The reason is each VideoFX source takes a certain amount of CPU power and maybe GPU Power(Not 100% sure) and we dont need the others, we'll be able to load videofx via Click Bars on the Non lead Characters/alts
So onto the DXnothing windows
Place your VideoFX Viewers where you want them on your DXnothing window, Try not to resize them too much it can affect the repeater in my experience. Once you get them where you want them save the Videofx as auto for the dxnothing. Then open the Repeater tab and create a new repeater for either all windows or for a select DPS group, NAME the repeater window the EXACT same as your Videofx SOURCE. Size it to be the same size as the viewer in your dxnothing window and place it directly over it. Then save the repeater regions as leader1 or leader depending on what you choose earlier.
1300
Once your done and you have saved the VideoFX under Auto and the Repeater regions as Leader or Leader1. Exit out of game then reload, you'll have to manually load the repeater region Leader1 or leader then give it a test.
You may have to play around with it to get everything situated to your liking. I've found that I have to double Right click on the drones I want then click Launch drones on mine

In regards to layouts. How do you monitor your off grid booster with links? You'll have to drag that pilot along with your fleet so how do you monitor it and move it around with the rest of the fleet? I have been drawing out on paper what my layout will be. Most would probably just answer put it on a separate screen but I am only using one screen for everything.

I just drag my booster with me. He's in a command ship, so he's just as tanky as the T3s.

What nice about a booster for the most part is he has to be in fleet for boosting(so fleet warp him) once hes in system with your team warp him to a Safe and turn on the good stuff. You could put a custom VideoFX source of his Ship health and Overview on one of your DXnothing windows resize it so it fits then put a click bar over it and make it bring that character to the top.

+1 this. Best if your Salvulture is also your drone trigger on 25 Ishtars/VNIs/Gilas, I find this was classic fun times.
