Ok so i did this in MOP and well it was kinda cool to share stuff i find in beta boxing it as well ofc!!!! cus who wants to play wow single Player.... NOT ME! Anyway am going to try and give as much info as i can about beta in this post. i hope its all helpful to anyone that's not sure if to buy it.

If anyone wants me to check something ask me anything then feel free to post here and ill have a lot and check it out for you.

Random Info

So am not really sure what am going to level in the xpac, and am hoping this is going to help me out for now I have picked 3 pally's (only got 3 betas)

So 1st post what to say.... Well wow is still wow so far doing the 1st chain quest and getting to level 91 seems really easy. a lot of phasing though and cutseens. but no quest really was "floor pickup" all the quest seem to flow and are group wide. or you can go for the loot the monster then the items on the floor the only quest i did see that was a pick-up quest.

/follow ITW and click to move all work like it does on live.

The "/castsequence SpellName 0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0" etc to add a timer into spells has been fixed in 6.0!


Garrison's

Opening the garrison was not great (for boxing) a lot of solo player work. There is a menu that show you the leaders garrison t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶d̶o̶e̶s̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶r̶e̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ ̶w̶o̶r̶k̶ ̶a̶s̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶s̶h̶o̶u̶l̶d̶ ̶(̶b̶e̶t̶a̶ ̶b̶u̶g̶?̶)̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶w̶h̶e̶n̶ ̶I̶ ̶d̶i̶d̶ ̶m̶a̶n̶g̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶g̶e̶t̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶

You can not use friends npc's or garrison buildings. You can not Use/pickup/share the daily quests offered at the EG: Inn Something to think about if you did not want the same buildings.

I tried making a video but wow keep crashing with the software. and long ques!You can now change spec when inside the dungeons a long as you have spec.

Quests.

It seems a lot of quests do not work or old quests and only works for the quests you pickup in and zone (there automated quests auto pickup auto hand in) works for dungeon quests use the same system. saying that the main quests don't seem to have a lot of pickup quests as far as i can tell from what i leveled.

Ashran

having lots of fun there.

follow works for now but there "thinking" about removing it or though the zone is classed as a bg and mass res and the soul trader pet does not work in the zone as it is a BG it says.

Ashran has been updated a lot over the weeks.

remember this is beta and numbers can change.

A: Macro's do work in beta and so far can not see any changes. A lot of clasess had a lot of stuff removed that makes them a lot easyer to macro

Q: Are horde and alliance together for any of the beginning quests?(Pvp realm)
A: So far i have not seen a horde.

Q: How long it takes to hit 92 from dungeons only and can you then proceed to the next zone
A: Atm you have to do the chain quests to get to the new zones make your Garrison.

Yes there is a big change you need to be in the using the spec you want to play as before u can pick that as a role to que for, even in a pemade group.

As far as i can tell as i olny got 3 you need to be in the spec before u can click on the tank/dps/healer. You can nolonger change your role as well from the player box its autos to your spec. (in groups)

yes i would think so, But as always you get more for joining LFG. The system is to stop players queuing as healer then being dps in raids/dungeons.

Yes i have tested this in pvp and pve and there is noway round it if you say pick dps/healer both box's will pop up if you get picked as healer then your spec will be auto changed to healer and there noway for you change it back.

If someone leaves and then you say U want to change to be a healer then you on the role box you can be healer when the group is remade you spec will auto get changed i tried making a video but wow keep crashing with the software.

100 arena as skirmish. This was in 2's as that is all that is working on beta.

i have got some video on games but as i lost them all on video i don't think ill upload it in fact i got owned! nothing to see just a few chars run in and more of less one shoot me.

Shammy's lost all of my 15-15 games as ehn. to weak take far to much dmg can not even drop a char to like 10% hp before am dead. 2 of them do not work!
lost 6-6 games as ele. cced to death to much dmg no oh shit button!
won 2-3 games as a deathkights very very strong lots of cc and lots of roots DG. really really really good self healing.
Pally i won very few games lots of heal groups but even then the games last long but i can not get the 2nd kill.

If arena stays like this. Boxing it is not going to work.

The only thing I want to know about Warlords is if Voidlords can still tank instances (3-4 of them), because atm they can tank and need very minimal healing.

maybe so but i can not see why else they would stop you going in a dungeon as a tank/healer unless your speced into the speced and stopping you from changing spec when in the dungeon.

don't seem much way to get round them if you want to do profs seems like you be pushed into them, there solo work. i just normally alt tab a ALOT. I don't know what happens if you got to 100 some "otherway" (questing u have to use them) as in beta theres is a npc cheat that builds them, but from the looks of it you have to do the quests to open it.

if that is the only spec you have picked then YES it only be a healer dps would not even show for you to pick. If you have Shadow/Disc Specs then It Let you Que for both and you can change in when you enter to whatever spec you feel like.

Everything works the same as it does today with kill and collect quests.

But there was a change where the ground quests was group wide. that made it super easy and fun leveling.

Removal of valor and justice points, are these changes currently live on the beta? if so, how much gold is it to buy Hypnotic dust from a 'Justice Trade Goods' merchant (like 'Talric Forthright' in Stormwind). Wowhead shows it at 14g 10s each, was wondering if that was correct.

you always been able to buy them with honor or JP honor ones have not changed. JP they only changed "useless gear items" as in old gear.

Do you have any issues with looting corpses using iwt ? In the live version i can only loot with 2 of my chars, then i have to jump around or go away and loot/spamming iwt again.

You might be on "Group Loot" mode which is set by default. Go to your leaders client. Right click on his player frame and change the loot mode to "Free for All".

Those toons that cant loot. Does IWT not work at all for them? Can they still run up to mobs, NPCS, and venders?

I'm having the same looting issue which started with the most recent patch. The best I can tell is that there is a conflict of some sort preventing looting by everyone at once.

I found that broadcasting the escape key and then trying again is enough to allow everyone to finish looting. I'm going to try and add a "clear target" macro and assign a key to it.

I have this same issue with looting with IWT. Seems like they somehow get stuck when they get the "that object is busy" error, as multiple characters try to loot quest objects or whatever has dropped. The loot window stays open and subsequent presses of IWT don't appear to do anything unless you move/jump. Not a big deal but obviously looting takes a bit longer and it's a bit annoying.

Seems like I'm getting something similar when turning in quests as well, although this happens rather rarely. Sometimes when I try to turn in a quest on all toons at the same time, none of them complete and I have to individually close the quest turn in windows, reopen and turn them in.

yep. if it was removed from raids it be removed from them all. and flex is just normal now.


edit: you tired Personal loot? seems to work better on timeless island.
