Lately it has just been planetary annihilation. I kind of skipped a couple RTS generations/series - I went from War of the Worlds\Warcraft II/Command and Conquer 95/Battlezone/Red Alert/Total Annihilation to Supreme Commander/ dabbled a little in Warcraft 3 - and now I'm in PA. I missed out on things like SC/SC2, That Halo one/Total War/Company of Heroes ets.

But, honestly I don't feel like I've missed out too much - smashing PLANETS into other peoples' bases totally makes up for everything I might have missed. :D

Did I really just watch 4 hunters solo-box a 90 heroic at 90? I left mine at 80 after WotLK primarily because I had zero luck doing current-level instances with them, let alone heroics. They were always my first love in terms of classes, though (love pet-primary classes).

I quit around the time they took /follow out of BGs. BUT i am looking forward to the new PvP zone in WoD, so long as they dont disable /follow there before all is said and done.

It wasn't the lack of follow that made it so bad though. Multiperson mounts, the alterac brew pup, and IWT make the lack of follow tolerable in most battlegrounds.

The level of ineptitude from the other players in the groups I got stuck in - holy cow. Objective based pvp with only four players following the objectives while the other team actually plays to win - not so cool.

Maybe it gets better at higher level brackets?

Can you tell me what factor (or combination thereof) that lets you survive current-level heroics with your hunters? I'd have been surprised to see 5 hunters succeed, let alone FOUR. There really isn't a special setup per say, just being able to steamroll the mechanics before they get started. My hunters do around 120k dps each on boss fights, i'd say that they'd struggle a bit at a lower gear level - but it would still be very doable. My wife will solo heroics from time to time on her hunter, or if I have a team that just needs valor. She routinely averages at around 500k dps in our raids.

The hunter class hasn't really changed much since Wrath/Cata - but the instances are, in most cases, much easier. I remember multiboxing 5m heroics in cata and struggling hard core with my shammy team and my priest team.

Huh. I didn't realize the new BM specs were that good at pet tanking. Granted, the last instance run I did was very shortly after Cataclysm (early 80s). I'll give that another look. They're all 84 so it shouldn't be too much work getting them to 90. I appreciate all the info! ;) o7

I forgot to mention that, with the exception of my turtles that I hardly ever use, my pets are all ferocity spec'd - the turtles are tanky.

Depends on what you're using, I just have isBoxer window layout setup that way and do full screen recording with bandicam so it's not really that difficult.
I think it might be more difficult with fraps tho, I only recorded 1 window when I was using fraps but I didn't play with it much before I changed.

I might play play with it a bit, I've taken to using obs for my recordings - mostly because I get to control my file sizes a bit more than I could with fraps. I.e a 20 min video is only like 13gb as opposed to the 4 gig per minute that I was getting with fraps.

It's fun! I'll try doing better with clarity - some of the recordings are at night while my wife is sleeping - our office is by the bedroom, so I have to be quiet sometimes. Also - I didn't have a pop filter for my mic - that has helped A TON.

So, as you can tell - I haven't uploaded anything for a bit.

After derping around on beta for a bit, (LOTS of time) I got discouraged with the directions WoW is going. I'm working on getting a STO team up and running though - so that should be fun - and different.

I'm also working on a ton of non-multiboxing projects that I will actually post in this thread once I get them up and running - pretty excited about them!

I've also changed jobs. So - there's that as well.

I guess what I'm saying is, yes I've taken a break from WoW, no I'm not going to stop making videos, I'm super busy with projects, and work is the suck.

Most my toons have their hearthstone set to inn below the instance in Dun Muroh (Spelling). as i farm the trash for cloth to make bags all the time. seems logical to finish the instance once a week before lock out for what you've highlighted as free gold. Would be nice to see the other instances too, helps the community and also provides suitable evidence to your wife for your commitment to farming the gold for free tokens :P

Could you link one of your armory profiles? Was curious if you're running mostly heirlooms.

Also I heard there's some kind of penalty for being prot spec in a BG. Something like +25% increased damage taken. Is this true?

1) Not really - however I did just get 5x druids to 10 so I could MB them in pvp. Yeah - unlike my paladins they got one shot. Not fun.

Your hunter team looks awesome. I really dig the fluffy pets :D
The Dps of your team is quite nice, you are finishing the bosses fast. I assume you are quite geared already? I Remember having fights lasting about a minute my first time in there :p

How are you splitting up your misdirects for your pets? All on their own or more focus on some specific tank pet? How many Tenacity pets do you use, 1?

Judging from what I see in the video you are using the same talents as me.

Also a tip on Helya if you already have not planned it for next time. Unless you really want to make it harder for a challenge, you can make her not do the light abilities by making her out of range of that ray. Just start with your tanking pet(s) as far as you can to the left side, and make her move slightly left at the pull. (I do that in my HoV video). It will be an easy fight with only the Eye of the Storm :)

Anyway great job. I really look forward to if you decide to make any more (especially hunter) videos :D

The mobs show up from hunter tracking.

I use elvui which which is a total ui replacement. You might look at trying sexymap - it's a minimal add on that is very customizable. I've used it to have a square minimap.

i have the same kinda issue with OBS as well but i gave up and stuck with Geforce Experience, But even with that i seem to have issue recording desktop properly, sometimes switching windows causes the recording to freeze until stopped :\

He's a pretty easy tame, just don't let him touch you and he has about a 5 minute respawn timer.

My favorite mechanical pet is the sheep - (10x big red sheepies eating someone's face in pvp. Best thing ever) N.U.T.Z is pretty cool, especially if you want a smaller pet (http://www.wow-petopia.com/look.php?id=squirrel2_robo). I love the spider pets too (http://www.wow-petopia.com/look.php?id=mechanicalspidersilver) .

One of the reasons why I like the sheep, especially for multiboxing (and besides the fact that...they're sheep...) is the fact that they don't really have an engage sound. So if you're spamming a /petattack macro - they don't make your melee go insane in LFR or raids. When I ran with spiders in LFR I got complaints because the spiders have an engage sound that sounds like hissing gears. I also got complaints about my dinos.

It depends on what content I'm doing. Typically there's only one fight per instance that I lust on (I'm looking at you Naraxus) - I'll pull out my lust pet for that fight.

Brez - I don't have a brez pet. :P So my strategy is to not die, and if I do die - make sure the boss is dead before all of me are dead. I want to say that the highest M+ that I've multiboxed is a +4 and I had really easy affixes. I've been taking it easy multiboxing because my wife and I have been spending more time playing together lately.

I would look at root cause of why your characters are dying, to see if there's some improvement or changes that you can make to the ways that mechanics are handled that will decrease your deaths. Some deaths are unavoidable - others...like my deaths in MoS - I could have avoided dying to the holes in the ship - but didn't because I was looking at something else, or whatnot.

I think in a 3x dps vs 3x dps standpoint it'd be ok, but if you add a healer to the mix, I dunno. I struggled vs a healer a bit. Granted...haven't pvp'd for like 3 xpacs... :P

Get that round robin viper strike going with mortal strike pet. I think they stack.

This is the only way I've found to kill tanks in world pvp.
