I worked for a company that promoted and sold the game and was able to play a bit, the game had a lot of features I liked. Some similar to how NPC combat is in Dragon Nest (weak mobs hide behind strong ones) if you one shot a mob some mobs will flee or will just be awe struck in fear, etc.

The game had at a pulls at the motor to get it restarted ...

I didn't like pve in warhammer but I loved the way that spontaneous world pvp worked, with more rewards for defending a castle than sieging it, there was usually a group your level attacking or defending a castle somewhere. Sadly at level 30 (I think I'm remembering levels correctly, might be 40) you lost the ability for everyone to speak in the pvp channel so that only guild leaders could start or coordinate raiding parties and it became a lot less fun.
