Following discussion in the Staff forum, this morning I have rearranged the forums a little bit.

You'll notice that the old "General Discussion" forum is now in the new World of Warcraft section (http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/54-World-of-Warcraft) and titled "General WoW Discussion (http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/11-General-WoW-Discussion)" -- it was previously both the main WoW forum and also used for general discussion. Feel free to point out threads that we should move to the General Discussion forum (for example because they are not related to WoW). All of the other WoW-specific forums have also been moved to the new section (e.g. Macros and Addons (http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/14-Macros-and-Addons), PVP (http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/26-PvP-Discussion), etc).

Games other than WoW now have their own category (http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/55-Games) along with full listing on the forum listings page (http://www.dual-boxing.com/forum.php). This should make it easier to track posts on those forums; hopefully they will see a little more activity.

Discussion about Betas and other Upcoming games now has a separate Beta/Upcoming Games (http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/58-Beta-Upcoming-Games) forum. WildStar, EverQuest Next and other alpha/beta game discussion should go there!

Hate "new in the Commons" video on top of the forum - very slow - take me every time about 10 sek. to go from one forum part to another - waiting for the video`s to load.

Any way to turn this S.... off :)

The youtube videos don't load until after the page load is complete, your browser should allow you to navigate without waiting for the videos

I think the old way was to have a way to close a section (like a minus on right side of title bar of section). For me, the video will load after the text, but the text will move so you end up clicking in the wrong spot since the video scoots the text down.

new in commons = pita.

takes ages to load the videos, scrolling down feels like playing on 2000ms with 5 fps, switching tabs
and getting back to the forums = reloading this section.

why do they have to be embedded youtube videos?
can't it be links or images to the youtube videos?

my firefox is at 318 MB RAM, only this page open, nearly no addons installed.
watching this forum at work with a slow pc is freezing my whole workstation.

Yeah, it stalls my Firefox as well. Typically it's about 20-30 seconds before things settle down and become usable again. The video loading appears to be responsive portion itself as I can see the loading bars under them just fine. I just can't switch tabs or scroll or do anything else while that's happening. Fortunately, I can just block that element with Adblock's ElementHidingHelper thingy. Interestingly, it does not do this in Chrome(SRWare Iron, actually), which loads fast and has no issues. It also bogs the hell out of IE11. I haven't tried it in Opera or Safari.

It's a total whore in Opera 12 {the holdout version}. I had to block it with ScriptWeeder because the forums are unusable until it finally finishes loading. It's ok in Opera 20+
