I would like to take this time to say hello to all fellow boxers. I googled boxing and came accross the fantastic wealth of information and people dedicated to the same cause. Iv dueled EQ2 for a few years and decided to give WoW a shot. After crusing as a guest here for a month or so im now 5 boxing using 2 PC's and a few programs. No special setups like a few who have here.
My question: During a few boxing movies iv seen 5 toons split up evenly spaced in unicent while in combat at what appeared to be a click of a button. Is there a macro or ahk program that accoplishes this? Iv not been able to come accross this topic in the search. I appriciate any help and continue to keep on boxing!!

This is usually called the "Spread Out" macro, and there's a discussion on this right....

My AHK spread out script:

[code:1]$J::
KeyWait, J, D
IfWinActive, World of Warcraft
SetKeyDelay, -1
ControlSend,, {J down}, ahk_id %wowid1%
ControlSend,, {J down}, ahk_id %wowid2%
ControlSend,, {J down}, ahk_id %wowid3%
ControlSend,, {J down}, ahk_id %wowid4%
ControlSend,, {J down}, ahk_id %wowid5%
Sleep, 400
ControlSend,, {J up}, ahk_id %wowid1%
ControlSend,, {J up}, ahk_id %wowid2%
ControlSend,, {J up}, ahk_id %wowid3%
ControlSend,, {J up}, ahk_id %wowid4%
ControlSend,, {J up}, ahk_id %wowid5%
Return [/code:1]

I've discovered this way to do the script myself and since I am bad scripter there might be a better script for that.

Iv come home and tried what iv read and cannot seem to get the toons to split up. lol. I use AHK with 3 instances running on 1 pc. All my actions work fine in terns of using spells and what not for all 3 toons. AHK works great for me but when it comes to doing the strafing with my toons keybinded it will not work. Anyone know what the problem may be? Thanks!

with my script, you should bind at your alts' clients buttons like that, for example:
J key at client1 = strafe left
J key at client2 = strafe right
J key at client3 = move forward
J key at client4 = move backwards
J key at client5 = nothing

are you using Unit187's AHK Script?

If so, are you using separate key binds for each character?

And, of course, you're setting them to different motions? i.e. one strafes right, one strafes left, one moves backward, one moves forward....

other than that, I cannot thing of anything...

Please keep in mind: Exactly timed actions have been rumored to attract the attention of Warden. A key bound to 1 direction per character really is a lot safer.

Not likely anything bad will happen, but rather safe than sorry.

Warden scans your memory for running programs, and left over traces of previously run programs.

It will not notice a bunch of characters moving at the exact same time. It also only bans on confirmed programs, IE the IS bans, even if it DID detect your same movements they would do an investigation and just reaize you are multiboxing and leave you alone.
