"Not being able to multibox" how? Sounds unlikely to me unless they remove /follow from the game in general instead of just the battlegrounds.

Where besides Swifty talking about this (trolling prepared) is this?

WoW is terriboring without multiboxing. Every time I try to just do a single account I wind up canceling it altogether.

I find this hard to believe. They're already bleeding subs.

I heard it on swifty first then a few days later i believe a streamer at the 24 hour game house said it.

I agree. Kinda hard to remove something that was never supported to begin with. Furthermore, I wouldnt listen to anything that overgrown man-child says or his viewers that spend hours of their life watching a stream of his couch.

But what did you hear? Some random person who made a general statement saying that multiboxing is no longer going to be tolerated in the next expansion? Did they have an actual source? Somehow I doubt that they did.

It's like when you're out in the world doing something as a multiboxer and you get a whisper from some random person who you don't know and they're ADAMANT that what you're doing is against the game's TOS and extremely detrimental toward the survival of the server. They then proceed to let me know that they are reporting me and that I should enjoy my permanent ban. -__-

... that spend hours of their life watching a stream of his couch.

How do you know that it's 'hours'?

General assumption.

i think they be a lot of boxers mad if they changed the rules as peolders are already up on mutil accounts and then go ya about that you just spent $200 an not you can not play them at the same time, F** you we got you good this time.

removing follow from game maybe?
removing ITW/CTM? maybe??

Or they just looking at it like i looked at a lot of the stuff is like timeless island (crazy aoe mobs) and it make boxing kinda hard. But fully out the game? without them saying anything before? really?

Intel one of good boxers get in beta/game we will not know. swaity can not box for the life off him.

I would consider it just a rumour, until something a bit more definite than a comment on a players stream comes out.

Seen as Blizz never officially supported multiboxing, I doubt they would blanket disallow it. They might do something to "break" the way we multibox currently (like follow in BG did).

But, until something is actually said, it's all conjecture and assumption.

Considering not 5 months ago, when they released the new Launcher, they commented that the launcher itself "was designed to be multibox friendly," I call bull.

Hell bushcc,

The Desktop App was designed to be multibox friendly with WoW as long as you're launching them all on the same system. To launch multiple versions of WoW first open the Desktop App, then navigate to the WoW game tab, select whichever account you wish to Play and launch it. Then once in WoW tab back to the Desktop App, switch to the next WoW account you wish to launch in the account drop down selector and then use the Play button to launch it. You'll be multiboxing two accounts on the same machine without much effort at that point, with the option to tab back out and launch others. Hope that clears up some confusion.

They even have a section on launching multiple accounts in the FAQ for the Launcher (https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/battlenet-desktop-application).

Launching Multiple World of Warcraft Accounts

Same Computer

1. Launch Battle.net.
2. Launch the World of Warcraft account you want and click Play.
3. Press Alt + Tab to switch to Battle.net.
4. Choose the second World of Warcraft license you want and click Play.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 as needed.

Different Computer

1. Launch Battle.net.
2. Launch the World of Warcraft account you want and click Play.
3. Launch Battle.net on the second system. The first system will be logged out of the app, but World of Warcraft will stay logged in.
4. Launch the World of Warcraft account you want to play on the second system.
