Hi folks,

Are there any special tactics I need to know for 5ing BT and Mount Hyjal? Will be running 2 locks and 3 disc priest...

Never been in either but thought I'd ask before trying to brute force them :)

Would be good to mention the level you plan to do this on. Both are soloable by a lvl 85, a lvl 90 makes it completely trivial. So if you are to run 5x lvl 90 it's absolutely a joke.

There was the reliquary of souls (?), the boss that looks like a ball, but they changed most instances a while ago so it's easier to solo them. It hasn't been an issue on anyone of the toons I play solo, so I really doubt you gonna run into any form of trouble unless you do retarded stuff like only auto attack or something.

Only MH fight that should drop you if you don't know what you are doing is Rage Winterchill's Death and Decay. It's a percentage damage effect, so same at 70 that it is at 90.

The only BT fight that may do the same is Mother Shahraz, if your characters are horrible and dont know the fights the Illidari Council may also be an issue (esp if you run in after Mother with all the cooldowns off). If you don't interrupt spells with your team that fight would be tough.

Ran them both last night. My warlock managed to loot a war glaive!!! Typical :(. Didn't use any tactics on anything and just annihilated everything. Was very cathartic and not bad on gold from loot. Managed to get chest, shoulders and helm for one lock :)

I don't think I ever boxed them at 90, but if you check my achievement stats, you will see I've cleared the instances >30 times, they are trivial. Agree with the rage winterchill one, same with nax if you dont spread on KT, anub'arak is hard in ToC if you mess your nuke rotation due to %age drain. Basically everything can be killed before any abilities used though.

Collecting every piece of tier gear for all my shammies is some of the most fun ive ever had!! And farming legendaries, I have 3x HoR, just need a 4th haha

EDIT: On souls you can kill yourself if you dps too hard on the dmg reflect stage.
