Hello,

I'm thinking about playing D3 (RoS) again.

So what are the benefits of multiboxing D3? Can I achieve something special if I play more than one char at the same time?
Or will I get the same items in single player mode?

Are there any new features with RoS? What is about the upcoming ladder system?

Maybe some D3-Multiboxer can tell me why they mutibox D3?! Is it just for fun?

Thx

I can't play a game anymore unless it's multiboxable ;/
It's more or less for fun, benefits are you can create a solid group and have some of the classes be more of a support for the rest. Typically this is a monk that enhances the parties damage and clumps all the monsters together.

I can say its more rewarding for these reasons:

1. Bind on account legendaries being able to share within 2 hours of same members in your party
2. Say one acct picked up a 2.0 Cain's set, You can triple the crafting mats to one acct if needed (i.e. blue arcane dust, common debries etc..)
3. Forgotten souls (legendary crafting mats) can be transffered by simply handing over crappy legendary to the account that needs it for enchanting
4. I feel that solo vs group farming you yield higher legendary because of "strength in numbers" buff and the loot 2.0 system.
5. The new class Crusader and the "Law" Passive has some interesting synergy that make all 4 of your characters very powerful and can be synergized with any other different class i.e 3x wiz 1x crusader etc.. (I personnally like the 100% crit damage active buff)

I tried the beta as single player there was definetly a difference in the amount of legendary it dropped when you compare solo vs group farming

thats my oppinions on the incentives to multiboxing.

No its not for any profits but for fun There is simply no economy in d3 ROS anymore its very sad but who knows maybe they'll make craft mats available for trades..

You're asking this question on a site that supports multiboxing video games and I don't think you're going to find anyone that's going to give you a solid reason not to multibox it.

"For fun" is the only reason I multibox anything. If you're multiboxing for any other reason you're likely to get burned out on it because then it's not fun anymore.

I'm looking at Everquest Next, as my next game.
But if it is not boxable, I doubt I'll get really into it.

At the moment, still sporadically playing EQ I.
Haven't really played a lot of D3, because it's a Blizzard game and they kind of irritated me with their battleground follow thing.

Anyway...
If you're having fun, continue... otherwise not.

PS. For some reason I find I'm using the backspace key, for corrections..., a lot more frequently, after 12 beers.
Strange and odd.
