I read that there would be a limit on the number of simultaneous connections imposed on end users on or about March 18, 2014.
I thought that it would limit a single person (not household but person) to 3 simultaneous battle.net accounts logged in and active at one time in wow (plenty to multibox with).
This weekend, I was crafting and playing multiple accounts in Stormwind (using two battle.net accounts, one of which had three sub accounts open and the other one just had one = 4 total wow accounts).
At least 10 times, I was disconnected after very brief periods of inactivity (one-two minutes even). Each time it happened, I had three sub accounts open under one battle.net account and a fourth on separate battle.net. Only one of the connections was dropped and the other three would always be fine.
None of the other three connections were impacted and it wasn't easy to predict which one would drop.
Did any of you experience something similar within the last 5 days or so? Could have been a glitch, or them testing something.
I was under the impression that it would be fine to open quite a few sub-accounts at once without trouble (I have opened 5 in past without issue).
I am not coming to any conclusions, but just wanted to get a little feedback now and over the next week or so if this happens with anyone else. Will monitor on my end but may just use three at at time until I hear a bit more.
Thanks!
