I played solo in the public beta last weekend. It was a lot of fun. Something to do while we wait for WoD. A lot of the classes are heavily dependent on movement so it would be very difficult to play a 5-man multi-class team well. But playing a 5-man shama... err Esper or a 5-man warrior team would be awesome.

I played a warrior and medic this weekend. I was just /following and making sure both toons were facing the targets. It worked good enough. Beta weekends are limited to lvl 17 and the first dungon is lvl20... so wont be able to test boxing a dungon until open beta. There are some nice things though. You dont have to target quest objects or quest NPCs to interact with them.. if your close enough.. just hit you interact hotkey and you will auto target it and loot/interact. The default interact is F..i changed it to `. I use F for follow macro. Also..you can "follow" mobs.. So next time ill spend more time making keybinds for assisting and following mobs..since you have to face them to hit them with your abilities.

The mobs get tougher as you level.. so boxing at east a healer is nice..makes things go smoother. Ill be boxing a group when it goes live.

( i meant to add this quote to my first post.. screwed it up.. sorry for double post )

Medics can do some great dps as well AND heal.. they have healing droids ( works like a a HoT ) that heal ok even with one medic, and doesn't require targeting.. so if you have a tank and 4 medics.. you might be very hard to kill. thats what i will be trying to start.

Beta weekends are limited to lvl 17 ...
Is that limitation to lvl 17 only on free beta keys, or does it apply to pre-buys, also?

im not sure.. ill have to look into it. but you get a good feel for how the classes play by level 10ish. I had just seen people chatting about the lvl17 limit in chat. And i never got past 13.

I got 1-10 playing yesterday afternoon/evening. I canceled 3 of my WoW accounts today and I'll buy another WS account so that I can dual-box it. Come onnnnnnn Lax!

Update ISBoxer via Help->About. This was a minor update to ISBoxer, so it doesn't automatically notify you and offer to download it, but you can update.

I've got the development box still checked -- I turned it on to get the 64-bit version. Can I turn that off now?

Yes, the build is live and you may uncheck the development box to remain on the stable build of Inner Space

Are there any gotchas to creating multiple accounts for Wildstar? Does NCSoft have the equivalent of battle.net accounts? Do I need multiple email accounts when creating multiple W* accounts? Anything else I should know?

(I realize this is the "Movies" section but this seems to be the most active area where folks are talking about Wildstar. Feel free to move me someplace better.)

I just wanted to say a few things about wildstar. I have been having more fun than i have had since WoW first came out. Its multiboxable for sure. Im sure it will be challenging to box PvP and group content.. as the mechanics for harder content have a lot of movement, but i'm sure some of you ISboxer wizards would be able to configure keymaps to make them manageable. So for any tough content i can only speculate at this time, as i am only 2 boxing it atm. I will definitely be 5 boxing this game when it goes live.

Just first impressions stuff here.. things i have observed/experienced in my 15 short levels so far. Interacting with quest objectives and NPCs and looting ( area loot like WoW ) are all easy while boxing..simple keybinds get'r done! last beta /assist <name> in a macro did not work.. this weekend beta it does. So you can now /follow and /assist in a macro. You can /follow mobs, so im sure with /assist and /follow you can "interact" with mobs ( not sure if you can /follow PvP targets yet.. have not boxed PvP in beta.. i plan to before beta ends..but PvP is a side distraction to me ). I do not use that though.. i simply follow my main and make sure my alt is facing the mob and myself so her abilities and heals hit the mobs/me, easy enough. Later though im sure i will have to refine my system so i can tackle harder content.

This game has a TON of content! While out questing you will open up challenges..all kinds like " get to the top of this mountain in 45 seconds..or kill this many mobs" etc.. The "kill X amount of mobs in X amount of time ones will be super easy boxed! And you get to roll on a few random loots when you complete them. If you fail.. you can try again later. If you dont have time for one.. you can skip it and come back and do it later by activating it in your challenge log. They have levels of reward..bronze silver and gold. I did one where you get shot out of a canon and have to try and land in the center of a pond several feet away. FUN stuff!

Shiphands are mini adventures.. they scale with group size and last 10-15 mins. I got my first one at level 12 and got an epic item from a random mob. There are adventures and dungons for 5 man content. Adventures are easier than dungons from what i hear...ill be trying one soon. Dungons are harder.. even low level ones..they have adjusted dungon difficulty several times. So not sure what they will be once the game goes live.

From what i hear.. housing is a game all in itself..if you like that sort of thing, housing will provide many hours/days/months of entertainment all on its own. It sounds like its a bit like garrisons will be in WoW..not as complex but permanent..ie not expansion dependent. You can do all the stuff you expect..design and configure them.. build stuff for them.. have a garden..etc.. get housing specific missions etc.. ( your house is a bad ass rocket ship btw ). While out questing and killing I often pick up recipes that are for housing items.

Although i have experienced very little of Wildstar.. i can 100% sure recommend it. Give it a try if you can get a beta key ( you can pre-order to get in beta weekends ) I would play this game even if boxing it was banned.. its that fun!
