Multiple toons in LFR.... How many of you do it?

Hi guys,

Got several toons above iLvl 500 now and considering 3 boxing (or 5 lol ) LFR?

Do any of you guys do it? What was the reception like?

Whatever you do, just don't feed the trolls.

Go in geared, groups of 3, do your job well, don't reply to haters in chat. That will get you through most without a vote-kick.

I tried 5, it was too obvious and I was vote-kicked too often. Not because I was bad, the votes were never started based on my contribution just on seeing I was boxing. I never even bothered trying more than that even though I was boxing 10.

That's what I thought. I have 4 Disc priests & 2 warlocks ready to go. May run them in pairs to start

I love doing LFR with multiple. I do Throne of Thunder with 3 since I am outgeared from there. Usually 1 melee (monk or paladin) with 2 ranged with each. (hunter/shaman & mage/another shaman). Siege of Oggrimar I only do with 2.

and I have never been kicked from a raid

I did 4 ele sham through the first lot of raids (vaults and terrace) around the time my main was in norm/heroic throne of thunder. I didn't come across any haters, tho I did get a few curious whispers. And this was with dps ranging between 100k and 20k.

I take my 5 man squad through LFR.

Both hunters are good DPS. The warrior too.

DK does more DPS as blood than as frost =/ the build just isn't boxer friendly with DPS.


I have some tricks I do but sometimes I still have those bleh moments. The fight before the Sha of Pride SUCKS as a multiboxer. Good chance someone dies on that fight. Rest of SoO is really trivial. Even Garrosh.

3 to 5 toons, all dps, and none have some name, or similar names like they once used too long time ago, so most have noidea I am multi-boxing and have no issues :)

5-15 depending on how 'switched on' I feel at the time.
Paladin Tank, Shaman healer (was a monk, not enough healing), 5 hunters, 4 warriors and 4 elemental shamans.

The reception has been pretty positive except for a few rather vocal semi-afkers who do very little towards clearing the LFR instance.
If you are keen to start up LFR, do it asap after downtime. I find the better players do it real quick, leave it to a Monday and zzzzz. Nightmare material :P

This is the truth. Its so fun to do LFR just after reset. People bring their best geared toons and they go so fast
