View Full Version : [FFXIV] Can I... ?

I have the game for my PC and I have another for my PS3. I bought one at GameStop the other at Walmart. I pay for two separate account subs. My friends come over to the apartment and play on either while I play on the other. My reason for multiboxing. They don't want to own an account or can't at their place. My place is kinda considered the entertainment hang out. I am not a gold seller.
I've done this before in the past lots of time but I got in trouble with some game or other I can't remember who. Here's the trouble. If I play the game bought for the PS on my PC I run the risk of getting account locked with a warning that someone else has logged my game. This is because the game owners keep track of what device your game usually logs in at. Not saying SE does this but I'm asking?
Has anyone tried account swapping or, to put it more clearly, playing your game at someone else's station/pc?

That was not the question I asked. I don't share my login and the rules were created to protect us from gold seller not be a pain in the ass. You are taking things at face value and not looking at the soul. Rules people do this. Hitler had a rule to kill the Jews you telling me that was okay just because he was a leader and made up the rules or can you think for yourself at all? I did not say I shared my password with anyone. I said they can play on my account after I log them in. When they get their own PC they'll buy the game. But you avoided my question all together after your panties got in a bunch worried about rule breaking. Can I go to my friends house and log in on his PC to my account?
You know at this point there will no longer be anything left to say to you people because you'll be so offended you wont be able to think anymore. Way to moderator troll the threads. Your forums will die a nice uptight death like so many I've seen before. Don't bother with a reply I'm not coming back. Or better yet ban and block and curse me as an example to the rest of your non existent posters. Have fun with it.

Sounds like you're the one who's butthurt over the answer you received; however, the answer still stands. No, as per the game's rules, you can't log into your account and let your friend play regardless if you're sitting right next to them. You have to be at the keyboard controlling your characters on your account -- These are the rules as they're interpreted in most games. However, if you require a crystal clear answer for your question, then why are you here asking it? Why are you not asking customer support for the game itself?
