Let's say I wanted to take a normal battle.net account with one level one character and make a quick five man team.

Can any of you confirm if the new stand-alone boost can be done with each wow sub-account?

Plan would be simple:

1) Chain RAF 1-2-3-4-5 for future teams or for vet bonus if needed.

2) Buy 4 MOP expansions and make 4 level 1 characters, each on a separate wow sub account under same battle.net id.

3) Buy 5 stand alone boosts for $60 a pop

Result is a new five man team in possibly an hour or twos work.

Have any of you tried this yet and if so did it work?

Do you see any downsides other than the monetary expenditures?

Seems quick and easy to get a team up and running. (would boost the RAF's to 60 first if I wanted professions and would always RAF with this for the 90 day window benefits).

Thoughts?

If you care about primary professions then you'll lose the 10 free lvl 600 professions by leveling from level 1 instead of level 60, but other than that it would be fine. But remember, you can level from 1 to 60 with RaF in a couple of hours, so if you waited just a very short period of time you could also have the level 90 team and 10 fully leveled primary professions.

I agree with rfarris.

If you are going to all the trouble of leveling and paying for boosting to 90 you might want to definitely maximize your dollars by getting the professions as well. More specifically, level your toons to 60 first and boost them from there. What's a days worth of leveling really overall?

The 90 boost is at Account level not battle.net. so you be fine

Av only done one upgrade so far and that account is the only one to access the free 90 (that i have no plans of using)

If you wonted the CE mount and pet that is bind on battle.net.

It's cheaper to buy the $50 pre order WoD expansion with the free level 90 boost.

I got rid of 2 shaman and 2 warlocks and added 3 pals and 1 priest yesterday.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll boost a team to 60 for profs since it is so fast and will get the pre-order to save money. Trickiest part for me will be how to swing getting a second or third team up due to what seems to take a long time getting from 85-90 per character. I have a current raf on different battle.net account and it it is the 85-90 that is the bottleneck there too.
