Path of Exile is releasing a mini-expansion on March 5th, called Sacrifice of the Vaal. This expansion is mainly a major content update, which is great news for multiboxers.
The storyline of Sacrifice of the Vaal revolves around the rise of Atziri, Queen of the Vaal. Your multiboxing team will be challenged with defeating the Queen and her minions. If you make it past the multiple sets of formidable bosses, the final encounter with the Queen will put your skills to the ultimate test.
As your team explores Wraeclast, you might come across Secret Corrupted Areas, which are indicated by a glowing, beating heart and swirling ribbons of blood. In these Corrupted Areas, your team can kill a boss monster to get a chest with a Vaal Skill Gem or Vaal Fragment. However, it won't be an easy task since these areas have magical properties and special mods to make them more difficult than normal.
The various Vaal Skill Gems found in this new expansion will make your multiboxing team even more powerful than before. The gems charge up when you kill your enemies and have devastating effects when you unleash their power. Some can even be used multiple times within a single fight.
In Sacrifice of the Vaal, you'll also have the option of playing the new Cut-throat and Sarn Arena PvP modes. Cut-throat mode lets you invade other player's areas and kill them for their items. The Sarn Arena is a free-for-all PVP zone where your multiboxing team can fight against a number of other players for some brutal, no-holds-barred action.
