EQ2 - gear for 90-95

I have just hit 95 on my 4 box team.

3 characters were boosted to 85 with the free heroic character give away and so have decent gear. One character though was a natural and has just random legendary drops from the dungeons I have been in, his gear is way inferior to the boosted characters gear.

After hitting 90 I have had a look at the crafted gear on the broker and while the crafted gear has better stats than the level 85 gear the heroic characters have none of it has Crit Chance. I understand that Crit Chance is probably the most important thing to look for.
Why doesn't the crafted armour have crit chance?

What are peoples suggestions for gearing up?

I have just been going through the content doing all the Signature/Heritage quests. Currently doing Shadow Odyssey quests and the gear drops from the dungeons are pretty meh compared to crafted gear EXCEPT for Crit Chance.

Did you do the questline in the tears of veeshan yet? I bought all this stuff off the AH for my 95's, but that was a mistake. The questline for tears expac gives you by FAR much better gear then you can get off the AH (for any reasonable price).

The quests are easy and pretty fun too. You do like 2 or 3 quests and get a new piece of gear.

I felt like a fool buying all the stuff from the AH, when this stuff was so easy to get, and so much better.

What level do those zones require?
My guys are only 90 at the moment.

I have been kitting them in the level 90 handcrafted . It is better than the 85 heroic char stuff and only a couple of plat a piece, then some cheap adorns. Currently doing shadow odyssey Heritages so ToV is a way off but I could skip to it for good gear.

EDIT: I looked up ToV quests and it all seems to be 95+. I'll keep doing the Heritages/Signatures up to 95 in the crafted gear and then go straight to Vespyr.

Ahh sorry, I thought you meant you hit 95 on your 4 boxing team. At 90 you can grind this one spot I think it's called Skyshrine, it's good loot and pretty fun. Lots of exp.

I hadn't heard about Skyshrine, cheers. There seems to be so many places to go. Others have said mentor to 80 and go to Sebilis as well for good exp. Although I am not really looking for exp, I am actually getting it too fast and outlevelling the Heritage/Signature quests. AAs are getting up there as well, I think each char has about 20 unassigned AAs - I don't get the time to go through them all again. I might just need to use the SOE AA templates...
