One of the truly disheartening things about multiboxing.

"We wiped! Kick the multiboxer!"
"We lost! It's the multiboxer's fault!"

:(

In those cases I was;

Top dps/damage
Didn't lose my base until I left to cap two other bases.

Am I doing it wrong? :(

Well depends on the map and the flow of the game. If you defend mines in gilneas for example with 5 of yours vs a handful of attackers, while the majority of the opposing team is at waterworks over running the rest of your team, then well you are indeed causing the loss. But really have to see it in the respective context, but being top damage doesn't mean shit in battlegrounds.

Sorry, meant respectively

You are an easy target to blame. Simple as that.

Yep. Sad but so true.

You do things in a different way that makes you the cause of all failure. On top of that joe the average solo-player is sure about one thing: Multiboxing is against the rules and since blizzard did not ban you yet its his mission to punish you.

Thats why most of my boxing toons are all named differently, harder to spot me as a boxer when most times its all, go go go

I wish I had learned this lesson long ago. When I join PuGs for Celestials with my hunters and they are all some hyrbid of "Youngblood" I get lots of shit. My shaman that are all named differently? No one even notices.

No matter what happens, people always will blame someone else for everything.

True even if they are to blame.

Id have to see the game or at least the team layout, but I can believe that someone guarding a resource with a large number of people is a soak of resources. Classic would be an AB game with 5 players at one resource.

To chime in with what everyone else said, it's the easiest thing to blame. You could have played perfectly and it wouldn't matter, your team could win the match and it still doesn't matter :)

BGs are full of knobs. That's the chief reason why people just don't like doing them. You multiboxing may as well be you fighting in middle, running away from a node or just being the wrong class at the wrong time. Whatever looks like a good place to vent for the knob crowd.
