View Full Version : [GameCommanderPro] Is GameCommanderPro still functional?

After reading the functioning wiki guide at length and repeated attempts to use GameCommanderPro, I have proven completely unable to get it to function. The layouts that I have saved only load accurately sized windows less than half the time, and have yet to load in the right place. After "launching" I am bombarded by "Access is Denied", "Not referring to an instance of an object" and other such errors. GameCommanderPro loads inactive, and I have yet to figure out what I need to do to make it function(as opposed to just clicking the "Active" checkmark).

I've made sure to properly configure the accounts and subaccounts in the correct orders, and have made sure that the addon is enabled ingame. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the WoW client into an unprotected folder, as well as the gamecommanderpro program.

Any advice on how to get it functional or a nudge in the right direction for help would be greatly appreciated, as otherwise their site ate my money.

Thanks in advance!

The person who created GameCommander Pro wasn't very active here for very long. They haven't posted since 2009 and haven't been to this site since early 2010. Your best bet for support is by contacting them directly

I can't honestly say that I personally know anyone who uses the software. I've looked at it before and some of its features are pretty interesting, but like the fate of most programs during The Great Depression known as Cataclysm, it seems that the author has lost interest in keeping it up-to-date.

Ebony has said, she has used the software in the past.
And Pwnboxer, and IS Boxer, maybe others.

She's currently using IS Boxer, to my knowledge.

The documentation was extensive, at the time the author came to our site.

If they author gives you support, great.

If not, then contact your bank/credit card company and have them do a charge back.

*Edit*
Looks like their forums are down, due to spam bots.
Not sure if this is recent, or if they've been down for a while and are not up yet, or not coming up.

The revision history on the wiki, shows the last update was in Feb of 2011.

The site offers a 10-day money back guarantee.
And that if you have any issue, if they cannot resolve it within 24 hours, you also get a full refund.
