Was about to order the video card, but then was offered to buy a used system with a 3930k, 16gb ram, 2gb gt640.

My system is

I7 2700k oc'd to 4.2 on air
16gb ddr3
Samsung 840 ssd 120gb
6970 1gb

I'd swap the 3930k into my system, and maybe use the other computer with Isboxer and Input Director for the 4 slaves. So I keep the main on the 1st computer with dx11, ultra settings, etc and mouse over to the 2nd computer's screen when needed.

Or better to forget that and get the 770? For 5 boxing.

This guy is selling his sytem for 450, 770 is 370ish on Amazon.

What would you?

I would say your 2700K is fine and the GTX 770 4GB is going to be the better choice. Only having 1GB of VRAM is quite a limiting factor when playing WoW when using DX11.

Gave it some thought, and you're right. What bothered me was if I bought his system, I don't think I could overclock it since it's an OEM motherboard. More hassle than it was worth. 770 4GB will be here tomorrow!
