Hi all,

Just found this forum. A great idea to be sure.

I was hoping for some advice. I have 5 accounts in Eve Online 3 of these are PvP orientated. I have no interest in operating the other 2 consecutively with the PvP characters. So essentially 3 toons.

I'd like to be able to fit them in identical ships, with identical fittings. Target the enemy by controlling one account; press F3 (my weapon group hotkey) and let her rip on all 3 toons at once w/o having to alt tab or cycle through them manually.

I have heard of ISBoxer but know next to nothing about it, can this software do what I want? Are there any other options? I have no issue paying for software's but I really do resent subscriptions so despite my curiosity I am pretty much ruling ISBoxer out. I appreciate it's not hugely expensive but I only have 3 accounts, not 10+ and I don't need massive functionality just something to duplicate commands from one to the others perhaps? Truth be told I have no idea how it works. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

-Kane

I used keyclone back in the day just to replicate keystrokes across EVE accounts, and I'm sure there are other free programs that would work for this. Targeting is your issue with having follower alts in EVE without having mouse replication. Try auto targeting missiles. Fit your main for tackle, regroup your alts to orbit you, fire away.

ISBoxer. I would use it if I only played 3 accounts.

So perhaps if I could find something that would handle replication for the mouse too I could combine both to limited effectiveness? I will look at Keyclone to see if It will help me get part way like you suggested, thanks for that.

ISBoxer seems like a quality piece of kit I won't deny but I have a real issue with subscription based software(s) and products. If they'd stick a $100 price tag or somesuch on ISBoxer and be done with it then I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I'd like to thank the three of you for your input.

I have decided, atleast for the time being not to MultiBox eve on a regular basis. I do not at this time believe my current system is up to the challenge anyway so I'm going to hold off and look for a potential solution later after I upgrade my hardware.

Thanks again.

IS Boxer is good for a lot of games.
And almost any game you'd consider boxing, has had support added.

People have asked Lax... How would I do whatever?
He usually has an answer.
Occasionally, he instead develops a new feature for IS Boxer, which allows for whatever.

The support level rocks.

ISBoxer will definitely do what you want, though it may take some tweaking and fiddling to get the exact behavior you desire. See this thread for an interesting discussion of layout and such (including some vids): http://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/45642-In-game-element-layout-and-video-feeds
