Hello everyone i recently saw a guy multiboxing 60 wow accounts on twitch and decided that was pretty cool and wanted to give dual-boxing a shot just 2 accounts for now nothing to spectacular.

I decided to give isboxer a shot and am currently using the 7 day trial period to test the waters as well as my main wow account and a trial account.
I played with the settings and was able to get ranged dps combo working right away with few issues and I was able to get a rogue and mage combo going to test out IWT spamming for melee characters.

I was wondering if anyone had advice or could point me in the right direction to up to date information (most of what i have seen is quite old) on good 2 account boxing combos and if possible ways to have a healer or tank as one of the two and still be viable in 5 man group content. right now i think a healer would be fairly easy to run with a DPS slave but im not sure how assisting would work to get them to attack the right targets. I suppose tanking would also be fairly easy if i had a ranged dps along side me but i want to make sure i can still be useful to the rest of the group as both a competent tank and a DPS. I would love to do 2 DPS combos but im just a tad bit impatient and DPS queues hurt my soul (I also very much prefer dungeon grinding to questing)
I would likely be RAFing the account and likely using heirlooms as well.

I am very very new to all of this so any advice would be extra awesome if explained like your talking to a 5 year old lol.

Thanks to anyone who drops by and tosses in their 2 cents I look forward to your reply's!

Generally you target the thing you are trying to kill and heal using focus macros and mouseover healing

Unless tanking is normally what you do in dungeons I'd say it would be better to start with the healer/dps combo

We tend to be pretty vague about optimal combinations of characters because ultimately just like with your main, the best combination is the one you like to play the most. I would suggest any two ranged casters that you like to play as the best place to start (hunters are also ranged of course, but you'd be surprised how often you won't notice when the pet dies). This really represents any number of combinations: disc priest/ele shaman, resto druid/boomkin, disc priest/warlock. Disc priests work great for boxing because their dps rotations also do a lot of healing once they have atonement (not sure what level atonement kicks in these days) and atonement + shield on cooldown is a decent healing rotation that will carry you through a lot of content.

Ill try out a few combos and see what fits me best. on a side note however i upgraded my trial account to standard paid the 20 dollars and got a 1 month recurring sub but for some reason i still cant use the mailbox or trade so i cant get my heirlooms... kind of confused

It's just as lux says, you just need to play around with different classes to see what you think you might like -- No one can tell you different. Just be prepared to accept the fact that you may love your team while leveling them and then come to find you hate them at max level. ;)

It may take up to 72 hours for your account to come out of trial status.

It takes the paid upgrade up to two or three full days to fully take effect. VERY ANNOYING I KNOW.

Annoying indeed but oh well i guess >.< thanks everyone for your responses would any of you be willing to point me to some clever macros for various situations/classes for future reference? again most of what i find is cata or older.

MoP Macro Library (http://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/47938-The-MoP-Macro-Library) is stickied at the top of the Macros forum. Again, classes are pretty much whatever you like to play, especially if you are only using two accounts. The only thing that's changed about that since Cata is we have monks now and there's at least 1 thread on monks in the group composition forum.

There are also macros and class information in the Newbie's Guide Stickies at the top of this forum. Don't let the dates on sticky threads fool you. I try to keep mine at least up to date and we try to remove anything that is no longer relevant. The best thing you can do is read and experiment.
