Monk Healing

Howdy,

I'm still searching monk posts here, but dont see much about it. I skipped the MoP expansion so I need to read up on monks in general, but...

Is monk healing a bust for boxing? I always dreamed of a true melee healer for the melee team, was hoping the monk would work.

I never did the Monks, so cannot really comment on them.

Monks are great if you plan to play more than one of them on the team (a rock to level a mistweaver team with full heirlooms). I would not suggest it for a regular at 90 team with only one healer as fistweaving is much less viable for healing than it originally was. Which doesn't stop me from fistweaving lfr on mine but no ones life depends on you in an lfr.

yeah that guy, LFR superstar right there. doing both garbage dps and healing AT THE SAME TIME! hitting top 15 on BOTH CHARTS!

anyway... mistweaver healing is pretty awesome and yeah it's macro-able and if you lead from them well monks have a lot of tools, lot of mobility... a crazy amount actually.

Sorry, just bustin your balls; doing a bit of both roles isn't too bad, but just pictured a MW spinning crane kicking trash and hitting both meters, cool but wanted to emphasize MW is capable of much more than that on the healing side, especially that guy I would imagine.

Good healer. Would recommend.

Well it was Cdew running LFR and granted it wasn't necessary, but I consider him pretty good as far as monks go.

I fistweave with my 5x Monk team, the Five Wrathful Mothers. I've done a few MoP heroics and I've never had a problem keeping my team up with a combination of Renewing Mists and Uplift. 5x Chi Wave is pretty nice, too.
