Hi everyone. Been away about a 8 months. Left after finishing off Pandaria. Saw the Siege of Org video and the Flex Raid looked interesting. Has anyone tried to 7 man or 10 man it? Is it possible? That would be a lot of fun if it could be boxed.

It is theoretically possible - several of the bosses. A ton of macros will be required and stationary IWT targets for positioning (jeeves, blingtron, archmage whatever). In first wing I can see:

1. Immerseus - tons of movement, special macros will be needed for healing the blobs, you won't make it through 4-5 splits liek a regular group.

2. Protectors - very tricky if you are playing both tanks. with Rook you don't have to move but you will need to control your tank on He due to the gouge.

3. Nuroshen - focus fire of multiboxing can make up for some of the mechanics - you can blow up all the adds instantly unlike regular raids that let them sit and do raid dmg. You'll have to manually move some guys to touch the yellow orb and I don't think it can be done with a tank in the trial, because unlike LFR that mob will kill you if you don't move/interrupt./

4. Sha of Pride - stationary IWT targets to handle prisons, easy spread/split macros to get out of swelling pride/reflection. Tank role is a joke in that fight, only important thing is the swap, better have your taunt wired to your brain. I think that may be the easiest fight in there for boxing.

Wing 2:

1. Galakros - forget it, unless you figure out a way to run your ground team just based on macros and aoe taunts.. it'll be tough because a team of 3-4 has to run up the tower - there is no way around it. That team needs separate control completely.

2. Iron Juggernaut - all fine except for the lazer beam, if you use a raid frame addon you're gonna need to switch to the guyw ith the debuff and run him separately, if you run through or are standing in tar you will one shot your raid.

3. Dark Shaman - this one makes me want to vomit just thinking about it.... 3 tank strat may work but the amount of movement and kiting on both sides, both bosses... its a shitstorm of stuff flying around those guys summon. No part of your raid is ever safe or can stay stationary.

4. General Nazgrim - I have a feeling you will lose most of your raid to the adds no matter how hard you try to focus fire them. Those guys are a bitch.

Wing 3:

1. Malkrowhatever - you need jedi skills for this one. The puddles, marking locations for breath of ysarj, unexpected tank swaps (his damage buff is random and erratic.. one second 10% extra dmg taken next second 200%, tank swap).

2. Spoils - requires two separate groups. Each group I can see being boxable just fine but you are on two separate ends fighting different mobs and both have to be done in sync.

3. Thok - Normal phase - dps and go. tank swap. no problem. Second phase - running all over the place, a group on the jailer, etc. 3rd phase... move boss a lot and get out of fire. Extremely healer intensive.

Wing 4:

Siegecrafter - never done fight, dunno.

Paragons - no idea. I still don't understand that fight. I've tanked it on LFR.. a lot of klaxxi dudes come out, do a lot of stuff, ltanking lots of things, swapping a lot. dunno.

Garrosh - by the time you get here you are god mode. There is a stack strat, all raid on top of garrosh that lets you cheese the adds and only have to worry about one engineer. Target macro requires for the weapon/purple stuff. the phased parts are fine - just sprint through kill some adds. Keep rotating your raid out of Annihilate. He starts to MC a lot of people which have to be killed (well, brought to 30% then they break out) - that could mess with your assist macros a lot but they aren't hard to take out. They have to be interrupted because they spam cast a spell to MC others.

...

Anyway I'm working on macros/setup for Immerseus hoping to get it down on 12-14M flex (15+ adds extra mechanics, or at least more "stuff"). I think it can be done on 10M normal, but I understand there is another mechanic, or maybe that's heroic only.

---

If you still need/want 522 gear and/or 528 thunderforged, 10/25M ToT has been nerfed in two ways - all mobs are debuffed to do 20% less damage and have 20% less hp. There are some nasty mechanics that aren't exactly boxer friendly (even first boss, the debuff that will explode your entire raid for 2M damage if you run into water). You could probably buy a lockout and get some of them done though.

I think there are a couple of five boxers that have been working on flex together.
