After two weeks of spawn camping my hunters finally got their pets! (3/4 of them needed it, the fourth is a toon I started in vanilla that has all the rare pets that I like.)

Gratz! that's still the coolest looking cat in the game...if for no other reason than its unique skin. Only other npc/mob in the game like it is a quest mob. im pretty sure every other pet has lots of mobs with the same skin ..just colored different.

It looks good, but I don't have much knowledge about pets and how rare they are. Can you share the name of the pet/mob?

If that's Loque'nahak, I could just cry. I camped that bastard pretty regularly for months back when I was playing and only saw his corpse once.

It is loque. Took me two solid weeks of 24/7 to get him until I finally figured out that crz was screwing me over pretty bad. So, I had someone on a non crz realm invite me, and my last tame happened less than 30 seconds after.

that is a different cat skin..as I said.. the NPC for the quest in Zul Darak ( spell check ) and the mob itself, Loque'nahak, are the only cats in all of azeroth that have that skin. Thats why it is such a hunted mob. ALso.. its hunted and killed for achievements as it is one of the rare mobs in northrend, so hard to find alive.

It took me a few weeks of camping him every night as well.. and i would target him a lot and he was already dead. I got him during Wrath. so it was camped all the time. 8( So major props to OP for having the patience to camp 4 of those bad boys!
