WoW multibox mage spec for 39 *update, changed to warlock team*

hi all, i just started multi boxing 2 mages the other day and am having quite a bit of fun with them.

one is fire, one is frost. this has been real sweet for PvE but when i hit the level 19 WSG for a real test (fighting twinks haha) i found myself doing things way differently (duh)

i have a third mage who is at 38 right now and i'm thinking of using all three in the level 39 battlegrounds for a while. i put this spec together and wanted any input or general advice.

i see alot of fire blast/ blast wave/ arcane missles and explosions in my future. the hybrid frost/ fire bolt is awesome for leveling and i will respec them later when i decide to take them to 70. I am a bit new to WoW and any input on this spec would be great.

With 3 mages I'd surely take Imp Frost Nova ... That bound on round robin(or using a cast sequence macro), and yer clothies are a bit more save from melee harm

I would spend no points on Wand Spec or imp arcane missiles, just to get the imp frost nova...

But that's just me .. Had it on my lvl 38 maxed out twink mage and it owned so hard when aoe'ing, or 1 v 1's (lost duels, won fights, but pvp is what matters then ;) )

cool i will consider that and a few other builds too, maybe arcane would have been good if i made level 19 twinks, i just found myself using the missles a whole lot. i think i am only doing basics right now with macros and clonekeys (running on a mac)... i don't plan on twinking these just messin in 39 for a bit (their professions are gathering based anyhow)....gonna read up on better macro styles so that i can maximize the triplets by next weekend. thanks for the help :}

Frost would be my choice. You take damage as often, less moving, and shatter crits! Just don't get frostbite if you even plan on aoeing.

I dunno. With 3 frost mages maybe you should take frostbite on them all. If you max out improved blizzard and permafrost on one I doubt that many mobs will make it out of the blizzard.

hey all thanks for the input! i have acquired a ton of gear for three mages but had a bit of a change of plans.

i wanted to try some more multi boxing out so i added 2 members to the mage team, a shaman and warlock. i leveled these two to the teens, this combo was fun and the synergy was great (at least from what i experienced in the low levels)

then i got a better computer! this allowed me to run three accounts smoothly and i started over - three warlocks. since then i've tried some other combos and decided to make the warlock team my first to hit 70

currently i am trying to think of a good guild name for them, as well as get all that great silver-thread armor(x3 heh heh) for the 20's.

Nephania, Nenphia, and Napha - leveled to 18 in red festival suits, might just try to hit 70 in the silver-thread lol

so far running with one VW and 2 imps

and although i only got compliments with my two mages i've gotten terribly flamed for my warlocks, and reported to a GM ... seems dual boxing is more low profile heh heh

will post screens and am taking suggestions for guild name! so far thinking of

<soulstone vendor>
<we also eat dolphin>
<hocus phocus> (too sesame street?)
<legendary war thingy> (composite name of a few ally/horde guilds on my server sure to get me ganked haha)


if anyone has any multi-warlock tips i'd love to hear them!
