So i decided to try out vista and installed a clean install of Vista 64 bit and it is running super fast for me, recognizes all my 4 gig of my High performance memory. Only problem im having though is this laggy and jerky graphics at times when fighting. Im playing around with the graphics drivers but not sure why its doing this. I mean I can go to Shat and turn all 5 clients graphics to max and it will run pretty smooth, then I got out in a zone where no one is and start doing 5x chain lightning and it gets real jerky. I really hope I can get this all sorted out or I will just go back to xp, when running XP it was flawless and perfect, never lagged at all anytime and could go in Shatt and run max graphics on all 5 clients with no problem. The downside of XP was it did not recognize my 4 gigs of memory but it did run great. I was just hoping to be able to run vista and 5 clients smoothly, but that might be asking to much. Anyway thanks in advance for any advice anyone might have for me. Maybe someone has had this problem and can give me some advice.

I have a similar setup. Try browsing my posts to see what has / hasn't worked for me, especially:
Need some help 2 dual-screen mode + vista 64 problems... ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=5346')
Adding 3rd video card = *worse* performance? :( ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=4749')
[Other] PowerShell script to create symbolically linked (mklink) copies of WoW ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=4854')
Reducing latency ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=42641&highlight=#post42641')

I also suggest using perfmon.exe to see where the bottleneck is.

Have you worked affinity settings?
Do you hear hard drive caching?

If you're only experiencing lag during fights, then it could be an addon. I've seen that happen more than once. Little stutters that are caused by addons. Another possiblity is that your spell detail is a set a little higher than you system can handle. There are a lot of particle effects flying around during combat. Try turning your spell detail down some if the addons are not causing your lag.

Well I played around with a few settings and in the end I went back to windows XP, which is hands down 100x times faster. I can now play 5 clients in shatt maxed graphics with zero lag or any jerky gameplay and it plays wonderfull no matter where I go. I just think maybe vista is not best for gaming as XP. Anyway thanks everyone for your advice as it was very much appreciated.
