[WoW] Arena games are now live!

Heya heya, as of today the Rated Arena Matches are now live, anyone else dual / multi boxing in them? Would like to hear how well players are doing.

I've only played 2 matches but have come out ahead on both, trying to savor the moment while it lasts before I lose a game.
It's extremely intense inside because every game matters and really gets the blood pumping~!

Good luck. I don't dare take my hunters into the Arena, and my "balanced" group I'm still working out the kinks. Playing on PvE has made me soft.

Only been in practice matches so far. Can't win regularly yet, my Paladin is getting destroyed by shadowpriests. Manaburn is too tough to counter.


It's fun, yet stressful, trying to solve the class combinations. Life easier as 3 Fire mages? Thinking all warlock would be easiest for multibox team?

I'm actually doing extremely well in the 5v5 Arena. My 3 Fire Mages combined with a warrior and a paladin and we usually take out the other team in 10 seconds or so.

I haven't seen any flawless records yet and we ended this week with a 31-19 record, I think the rating was 1652 or so.

In the 3v3 it's hit or miss, if my opener doesn't kill someone I'm usually toast because I have no healing to back up my punch.

The only multi-boxing I'll do in the arena is 5-boxing the minimum 10 games a week just so I can bring in some regular arena points on my characters that I'm not seriously ranking up.

Assuming all player skill is equal, one player playing multiple characters is not as effective in PvP as multiple players playing one character each. That isn't to say you can't win some matches, it's just that a good group of 5 players will be better and win more matches in the end.
