Hi, My name is Pocahuntess. I'm a long time lurker of these forums and a (not quite as long) 5-boxer. I've noticed that with the recent follow debacle, this forum is not quite as active as it once was. So I wanted to ask, are you all still boxing? If so how many toons (5...3...2)? If you are still boxing 5 or more, what kinds of things are you doing in game? Myself, I've never been a pvp boxer so, by deduction, I only box pve. But with the "no more heroic 5 mans" position that Blizzard has taken, I'm just not finding much reason to 5 man and have been heavily contemplating reducing to 3. It's hard giving up 5 boxing for some reason though. Even though I'm not really doing much but leveling toons! I don't think I could ever play with just a single toon again. So what's everyone doing in wow these days?

I'm not playing WoW these days, but I wasn't very happy with the scenarios compared to real dungeons. Other people, however, loved them. I'd suggest running a bunch of scenarios while you still have 5 so you can see which category you fall into before canceling.
I've been back and forth with the long deadspots in content enough now that I just cancel when I get bored and resubscribe around mid October when all the holiday events start coming back. That gives me plenty of time to check out anything that might have happened while I was unsubbed {or see that nothing has happened and remind myself why I unsubbed in the first place, lol}.

am in and out of wow like khat don't spend a lot off time on it now a days more solo then a boxer. but my "alts" are on there own accounts.
3 is very doable but. The scenarios don't feel right there is no drops as such that makes it feel Wrong as a dungeon, They feel more of some kinda story book then a thing to do, Getting told to do a>b>c is not my kinda game play.
i am playing 3 but like i said there more alts then boxing so it does not really matter i play with friends as that's the only reason am really on wow for. But i do use the 3 to do Day quests why do it on one when you can do it on all your alts at the same time? and old raids for gold/ cool looking gear and just to chill out,

same here, if they ever remove follow/interact with target from arena or balance gets worse for us I'll try to compete in challange modes

Lol. You do this with 1 toon or several? I think I may unsub 2 until next xpac and see where things are. If I even have interest in another xpac by then, lol.

Yeah. I tried a few last night and that's kinda the feeling I was getting. I will try a few heroic versions and see how I like it as suggested by Khat.

It depends. If there's been any updates that look remotely interesting in the 6-10 months I was away, I just bring them all back. If I'm just really, really, really bored, I just bring my main back and waste time for a week or so until I finally decide if it's worth coming back or if I should just wait for the next expansion.

The main reason I don't play wow anymore is the constant resets - every expansion or major patch, the progression is reset. Everything you did before a patch or expansion is pointless because the new content's gear trumps it. Having to constantly grind in order to 'keep up with the Jones' is not fun. I prefer to play games where everything I ever do has some sort of bearing on my future in the game. A game where even the entry level portions of the game are still relevant.
WoW no longer provides an exhilarating gaming experience for me.

ya this is so true but that is because there trying to make HC raiding harder and easier raiding so the jump is just going to get worse to stop players doing older raids to get "better" gear. to be fair what is the big deal doing older raids to gear up......

EaTCarbS: What are you playing now? Have you found a game that provides this? Sounds great in theory. :o
